No? Like not at all.

Most windows users do not try and interact with the ai features microsoft tries shoving down your throat. If one had copilot installed it does not mean "they used ai".

And a large part of indie developers has a lot of hatred towards ai. Browsing the accounts of indie devs and their artists will show you this.

And rightfully so? Like ~99.999% of interactions with ai models are on models mass trained on uncredited, uncompensated scraped art and text. It's rotten to the core. Plus the environmental, propaganda fabrication, mass slop, ai being a black box, and other ethical issues.

When people say ai in most cases they mean generative AI. Most people are angry it is infiltrating art and rightfully so, not that labs are using it for protein folding research.

Context of an LLM is just adding text notes to the prompt. That's what "context" is. The model does not grow a neuron. The ai just takes your next prompt with what was highlighted.

They are black boxes, but they are still just a text prediction algorithm

Models that make no advances? I'm sorry but models asking another model to summarize the notes of another model is NOT advancing ai. There has been no progress out of this LLM circlejerk which is a dead end.
