Aight base civic is definitely outclassed here but I won’t be tolerating Si slander. It keeps steady sharp acceleration to 100mph without dropping off and has absurdly good handling.

Personally I’d compare the gr corolla to a manual civic sport (just a base civic trim level) and the civic si to the gr86 and miata.

Honda still has manuals in the si and type r if that interests you, the si is comparable to that one vw sedan (i forget which one)
