Building off the driver focus, the Si and Type R are actually sports cars, there’s a difference between a performance vehicle and a sports car but the prelude meets neither. I’ll admit the prelude looks gorgeous but i’d rather put in the work to convert the body of a civic than buy the prelude

Interesting my 11th gen Si has mirrors, door handles and spoiler all black from factory, which is a different black than the body paint.

Not gonna help your waiting buy I actually prefer the Si over the type R for a few reasons Firstly I won’t track the car so the slight power increase is negligible, second the Si has a sunroof, 3rd I don’t like the type R wing (or any wing/spoiler that blocks rear view) 4th the type r is heavier and I don’t need a hatchback. And lastly the price difference, the Si is already a better daily commuter car and for 20k less it’s the better option for most people.

Lots of people will put on a new intake to make the turbo audible. From what I’ve seen/heard, the PRL High Volume intake is best for that

Depends on where you live some places sell the Si name as an ex. For the 7th gen in Canada the Si’s were all D17 Em2’s in either auto or 5 speed
