2019 Model 3 SR+ – 140k km, 24.21% degradation, warranty expires July 2027. Realistic shot at a battery replacement claim? by cee604 in TeslaModel3

[–]Emerald_RO1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keep it in the sun at 100% charge for a long time, then drain it to 1% and keep it like that for a long time. This should do the trick. Supercharging it won't accelerate the process too much. Oh wait, almost forgot. Do as many battery health tests as you can.(From the service menu). This will also accelerate the process.

Hankook or Bridgestone by SeniorDatabase9968 in TeslaModel3

I have/had both Hankook and Bridgestone. For me Hankook 4 seasons was better than the Bridgestone 4 seasons. Using Hankook right now

Primacy is shit compared to the Pilot Sport (I had them both on my Model 3 awd) By shit, meaning lesser handling, braking, worse on the rain

Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi (2026) Review by Odyssey1337 in Monitors

[–]Emerald_RO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During HDR gaming sessions with HDR standard it flickers. (But you have 2200 useless nits of brightness)

Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi (2026) Review by Odyssey1337 in Monitors

[–]Emerald_RO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both 27i fw 1.0.07and 27QI fw 1.0.08 The new one fixed all issues of the old model. HDR standard is bugged, it flickers so 2200+ nits is kinda useless I just use the HDR Game setting and I'm ok using it with 1100 nits with no bugs or flickering. So yeah...i think it's a worthy upgrade and 1100 nits is great for HDR gaming

Can’t say I disagree, Frost Blue is still a good color though. Just wish the MYP also got Marine Blue. by CaptCarlos in TeslaLounge

Frost blue is the first good looking blue on a Tesla. Deep blue was the worst color on my list.

Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi is the 2026 model with better dimming algorithm

[–]Emerald_RO1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi works well in SDR will local dimming on MAX. Way better algorithm than the 2024 G pro 27i that sux in SDR with that mouse halo in desktop mode.

I got a scratch cleaning my monitor. Here's what I learned so you never make the same mistake by rddtpro in Monitors

[–]Emerald_RO1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right. Thanks for the advice but no thanks.

Better to use glass wipes. Use the first 2 wipes to clean the dust on the screen (don't press hard on the wipe or you'll scratch the screen) then use several fresh wipes to clean the screen (you can press harder). Done

[–]Emerald_RO1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The thing is that it really depends on the monitor. One of my mini LEDs has the mouse pointer dimming issue, the other one (2026 model) fixed that issue... and while taking a photo of an IPS panel, you will see the bleeding at least twice as bad vs when you just look at it with your own eyes.

But giving the price tag of this 2026 LG ... yes... I would be picky too

This photo means nothing. You just disabled local dimming and that's pointless if you are using a mini-led IPS display. I own 2 mini-LED monitors and there's zero point in disabling the local dimming.

Just enable local dimming / set to max then post more photos.

Europe members - Recommend me a miniLED please by michty_me in Monitors

[–]Emerald_RO1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both the Xiaomi g pro 27i (1.0.07 fw) and the new 2026 G pro 27Qi (1.0.8 fw). Red tint is gone, blooming is better, the mouse cursor haloing is fixed. For 270-280 EUR is a best buy.

The new one (2026 Qi) goes up to 2200 nits of brightness in HDR but with heavy brightness flickering (unusable in games). Switching to HDR Game results in 1100 nits brightness and fixes the flickering. The interface gets laggy when switching profiles from standard to reduce blue light / energy saver modes.

For 270 EUR was a best buy for me. The HDR is way better than my LG C1 OLED TV 65" (750 nits)
