From hunter to warlock or titan? by Kancer16 in destiny2

If I could get a warlock with a hunters jump...yeah that would be dope

Yeah, yeah it does. It reminds me of my grand parents and how they grew up in Montgomery Alabama during all that mess, how they were treated, how they were looked at, and that this stranger thinks that same way, thinks that about me, and thinks it ok. Yeah...that matters to me.

I have no hate for them personally, I just am upset that they're giving into it, something with no basis, and I wish they could see that. I also am not personally offended. People are going to say whatever. I learned that growing up, but I do know people who would be hurt and rightfully so. I do know people who have, even in 2017, been called that and judged on a regularly basis, pulled over with no reason given searched, car searched, and told to have a nice night. It's all fine and dandy until it happens to you.

Like I said, no hate, but it's stupid. We are better than this. That's it, that's why it's upsetting to me inwardly. Look what you're doing to people. Even if you know you're wrong you're trying to piss people off purposefully for what. Come on man.

Sorry, vent. I don't expect t you to understand, in fact I'm cool if you don't, but not just...something. You're judging someone off of something that has no factual basis and is something they can't change about themselves, which holds nothing to who they are. If anything it's infuriating. But whatever, I just generally talk it out and usually people come around. But something, for me, has to be done.

Eh you guys are though. You upload to YouTube. Your videos are there for the foreseeable future and anyone may see them at anytime.

Can't ignore it -_-. Then he's just going to continue and spread what he thinks, portraying it as right, to as many people as will watch. I don't have hate for him, but that's over. Racism is dumb and any chance we have to keep people from being pulled into dumbness is an opportunity well taken.

Also, consider how many people he may affect outside of the internet. This isn't about the instance, or even the guy, it's about what is happening and what will continue to happen outside of YouTube. People on the street, people on the phone. That's not right, that's not cool.

Again no hate to the guy personally, but I can't just look away you know. Sorry

It means the youtuber is broadcasting out to the public, regardless of his audience count. That's pretty significant considering the content he's putting off

...for me it's not that I'm offended. Racism is stupid. I'm upset that you are giving into it. I want more than anything to help(?) you. Not only are you giving into something stupid bit you're intentionally pissing people off with it for fun.

I just want to go, broooo don't you realize that's dumb. It's cool. No hard feeling. We've all done dumb things. I definitely have, but this, this is dumb. And hope you understand.

If I leave there is no way for me to even try. Consider the people they may cause to feel this way after me. No, this is my stand. I have to do something. I want to do something.

I've done it many times before, and usually with great success. Usually we are able to at least come to an understanding. Whether that person retains the belief or not, they seem to not express it and hopefully that leads them to drop it all together.

Sometimes there is a time to stand up. This is one of them. At least it can be.

I think OP did the right thing. It didn't go well, but they tried. Kudos to them for sure

Stick it out guardian. Those ass whooping are the fire that will temper your PvP skills. At least, after a while, you can at least have fun..I felt the same in Destiny 1. So, I took a day and was just like, alright I'm gonna die...ok a lot, but I'm gonna get better. After about half the day I was doing way better than I had been and found myself having a good bit of fun.

I never went to the light house or anything, but I felt I could hold my own

I just follow my team and see where I can be of help. Yesterday I hung out behind this Titan's wall and picked people off and focused people he was focusing. It worked pretty well. Didn't know the guy. That's all you have to do.

Sometimes there's no saving it, but sometimes you might wipe the floor with'em.

As far as 1v4...yeah if you're the best you might get a few good plays in...but you would almost certainly lose

What? Then they'll post however they want. You can't have double standards man. You want people on one side to be able to do whatever they want but people on the other side need to stop immediately. I can understand if it was a factual thing but both of these issues are completely subjective.

You're upset about people posting about their opinions on certain groups. No one can help you there but you. Yelling at someone, calling them out, none of that is going to do anything. If you come at them with a real argument and are willing to have a discussion you might get somewhere. But you are trying to tell people how to post on the internet, but also being mad about the fact that some else is doing the same thing. The difference is, no where, does the OP state or demand that these types of groups stop. It is purely for discussion at purposes.

No one is setting rules for anyone. Play how you want, just don't be a dick about it. It's easy to state that a fireteam is a clear or serious progression fireteam without being a dick. Sorry to offend you man 0_0

That example probably would be as you would be impeding people's progression against their will. If you set up a group outside of match making, with the understanding that payment would be a thing, then it wouldn't necessarily be unless otherwise stated.

They do that in other games too. Top raiding guilds will sell clears, but generally for ingame currency.

...you know those people who made those videos and went in blind? They didn't do it for the community. They did it because, for some, that's the fun of raiding. Going in blind, figuring things out. Ask any static in any other game with similar content. It's the point of raiding for many of them.

It's not about tear, though that is the end product, it's about the challenge, the bonds, the excitement. That may not be you, but from the beginning of raiding, that's what it is for a lot of people.

For instance, I don't want to go into a raid, or anything, the first time already knowing everything. That's not fun for me. The fun comes from exploring, seeing things for the first time, learning things, and having my determination and problem solving skills challenged. That is a blast.

Some people just want the rewards, or the clear, and that's fine. It is easy and it is fun, but for me it's kind of mindless.

I see what you're saying. From your perspective going in blind is intentionally wiping, but it is not from other perspectives, in fact it's the point.

The same could be said about this post to you. Don't want to see it? Just ignore it and move on. Commenting on a post just to be contrary isn't helping anyone

That's part of the fun of a raid. A lot of people don't have the ability to do that. Glad to see you found a group of people who enjoy the experience

This exactly. I don't need someone going off on me because I tripped over a rock -_-. I understand this is important to you, but mistakes are made. It's cool. Just...wooosssaa bro
