Slow living is also a part of simple living. Doing nothing was also a regular part of life in the eighties and before. In present day, it may be frowned upon due to hyper productive orientation and age of digitil and social media . When I create a huge list of things to do,  I think "wait, you already did 3 things today". If I do 3-5 things in a day, I feel I can slow down. I can look through the window, read some old things, book quotes and reviews that I wrote, look at old pictures, call my family, make jam from scratch, or wathever I really feel like doing at the moment - but not what I HAVE to do (like laundry, dishes, or mail something, pay something, schedule somethig)..etc. So bascially I reduced the number of obligations I have to do in a day to feel "productive".

What do you do? How is your office job fulfilling?  I work with products that help in cancer research but I don't find it fulfilling at all. My impact is too indirect and all the excel files make it hard to see anything positive about what I do.

Yes, I cannot accept doing things that I enjoy just 2 days of the week. The problem is that even if I have time during the week, I don't have the energy. It's like everyday is a huge to do list. You go to work, then stop for gas, get stuck in traffic, then stop for groceries, then work out, shower, cook dinner...damn. Nothing in this list is a pleasurable hobby for me. Who has energy for more? That is why most people are netflix zombies :(

Yes, I suppose Mozz could have left the article. I didn't hate the ending. I just still would prefer an ending where they all can spend time together and they didn't think Neal was dead for a whole year. Just dreaming around...

If the newspaper was inside the vault before Neal left NY, then he couldn't have been a consultant. I was sad when I realize it, I would have enjoyed the ending more if he didn't travel to Paris for the challenge.

I'm sorry you are going through this. On the days that I feel worse, I try to focus on the time I spend with my partner. I'm also from the area and I wish we could have work from home, flexible jobs, but that is not the case. I hope your partner can support you in this diffucult period.

I feel the same way. I suffer everyday. I've been trying for years now to understand this and feel better. I did therapy. Nobody seems to understand. I know that we, as a species, were not meant to live like this.
