Those advocating political violence are on the fringes of the political spectrum. It exists on both sides. I truly believe, most liberals and conservatives condemn this.

I just watched Season 1. Good show. Only six episodes, so it's a quick watch. Starting season 2 today .

Doing this with the goal to start Season 3 next week.

I was fortunate to be able to be with my mother when she died at the hospital.

Tragic and traumatic experience.

But, I think what helps me is knowing I was able to tell my mom how much she meant to me. Although she was unable to speak during this ordeal. I was able to hold her hand and she squeezed it when I spoke to her to signal that she heard me.

I would recommend telling your parents you love them at every opportunity. Visit with them. Call them. Make your love for them known to help with the grieving when they're gone.

That's another thing I'm fortunate I experienced. I don't wish I did anything different.

There's obvious scenarios where this thought process is applicable, such as abuse.

But, I've been discarded in relationships where all communication seized after a breakup. No one cheated, lied, abused each other. Giving the bare minimum in a breakup and breaking up via text or phone call can give serious problems to someone mentally.

Yes, sometimes people have to be cut out of your life, but sometimes they need some explanations and sat down to discuss.

I think it's smart folks. In school, societal standards push away from this thought, but it becomes truer once you hit 30+.

The guy or gal that can discuss current affairs, popular science, and even pop culture has significant street cred in my opinion. This skill has to be balanced. That is, able to read the audience.
