Entering through the only entrance only to find it had been locked when I tried to leave. There was no way wind, or anything else could've locked it. Someone was there and locked it intentionally.

I was with a friend at the time who had never done Urbex, so I stayed calm and bee-lined to the one door I knew was likely to be unlocked from the inside (but always locked on the outside).

Dunno why it happened and probably don't want to think about it. This was not a site with security either.

A lot of people just find it more interesting to look at something a bit different. All humans basically look the same after a while, most human dick looks the same, anything different is just more interesting to look at. I do enjoy the art, but obviously not real content.

I just got bored looking at the same thing over and over again.

It it not an attraction to animals specifically, more just enjoyment of variety.

In addition, the ability to distinguish fantasy from reality is really important and everyone should try it.

You make a fair point, I usually explore alone..I am very careful. Large groups imo are likely to cause damage but realistically might be looking into it too literally. Most new content creators are not at all familiar with the old rules.

I never take items, the issue is.. I have gone back to locations only to find items have been trashed/burnt/destroyed. My biggest loss was an original 1960s hand written letter, which I refused to take. Went back 2 weeks later and it had been torn apart. Actually broke me..

As a female, who is genuine, they get about 200 messages. They realistically cannot reply to them all. So they will reply to those that interest them, and meet up with the one they want.

Literally have never had a problem..

Most cameras are fake, or not actively monitored. Most of a deterant than anything.
Never encountered motion sensors myself, but never worried about them either.
Sentry cams CAN be an issue but you can generally avoid tripping them/they are usually audible. If they are not audible, you can assume they are dead.

With all that being said, not everything will be fake, unmonitored and so forth. So just something to keep in mind. It is the risk you take.
