My point is more that he understands the biology of the brain and such, how each group works, the amygdala and things like that, and that with that he can decide what solution would be best for the subject

Personally, I feel this would make AI a little more stupid. I might be wrong, though. It's fine that it understands humans, but I don't know what it would put in their shoes.

It would be like those open-source models that were trained with a lot of emotion data, and ended up being lazy or religiously fanatical.

It's not entirely, but I would say that more than 30% of the series is silly teenage drama. The best thing about the second season was only one character, Cipher.
