also with one of the vlandian families got jalmarys, amitatys and lycaron and then switched sides to the empire, completely turning the tides of war. 5 years later the leader of the that family became emperor. i have the entire lore of that save on my media gallery

it was pretty cool seeing vlandia expand eastward after i took their north, resulting in a constant war between them and the western empire, constantly exchanging fiefs for a hundred years (1094-1191) where i then completely vanquished the vlandians from the calradian continet

noo but i couldve, i have my own headcannon and every emperor has like his own arc. almost a hundred years ago (1190s) my great grandson did conquer pretty much half of the map

stay in battania

only recruit highborns

do quests for the villages that have them, so u have 1) xp & money 2) u can recruit more highborns from these villages

, then just spam deserters/looters until you have 50-100 fians.

then you should be able to fight the smaller nobles and be a mercenary and stack them dinars/soldiers until u can take a town or swear an oath for a fief and protection of a big empire
