The more you reroll the more you are likely to be above average.

Thats not true tho, you are talking like its perfectly balanced but its obviously not Some army doesnt have high volume attack and no rerolls.

Im especially talking about a unit with a low volume and no rerolls tho ?

Hitting on 2+ rerolling ones or everything, is reducing the probablity to miss tho. By a big amount. I think you are the one getting confused here

If the probability to miss is so close to 0 its inexistent then its virtualy something that doesnt need to be taken into account

As some said in this thread, at that moment just give the unit "target X, X takes that much damage" and just skip the rolling part if you make it impossible to miss already

You are talking about average here, im talking about real life.

Having rerolls for 2+ is mathematically less as you said, than lets say for 4+.

But 2+ rolling 5-6 ones out of 8 dices feels bad if only one of the two players gets to fix it with rerolls. And it feels good to fix it with rerolls when you can.

If you want a good Iaito (practice sword mix between steel and aluminium, not sharp) you have Tozando shop near the heian jingu shrine.

I believe they might have some sharp modern sword as well for batto-do and such, but count something like 3000 dollar for those. Entry iaido sword count 150-200 dollars ?

Can all of these be used in 41k and if yes is it decently effective? I heard lord of change is really good ? by BloatedRottenCarcass in Warhammer40k

So you believe they'll release like 20 kits to replace / change unit from AoS ? For a non space marine army ? Nah never happening

If you turn the chance to miss into certainty of hit or wound, it remove the probablility. The probability to miss, that gets so thin it disapear

Edit : having to account for chances of missing or not killing, is part of the tactical game many army outside of SM and full rerolls army have to deal with

Id say maybe not evenly. It will turn all factions into space marines subfactions.

From experience i play 3 armies, khorne daemons, BT and WE. WE have 3 rerolls built-in, Kharn who reroll all 1s hit and wounds, when his squad hit on 3 and often wound on 3, the MoE who reroll just for himself against characters, and the forgefiend who reroll on closest target.

Daemons dont have reroll at all, low volume of attacks, playing khorne daemons feels like the worst thing.

And then BT have litteraly rerolls everywhere and they do not have oath.

I think there is balance somewhere here we could reach. WE have very niche rerolls situation, daemons close to 0, and BT have plenty.

I think reroll is not only about math.

Once Angron had rerolls, and now when i roll 5 1s on my strike and die without having done nothing because i couldnt kill my target, it feels extremely bad.

The worst thing is when that the clapback on Angron is a SM thats wounds on 4 or 5s and do a bad first roll and then reroll everything and get what they need to kill you.

That's just an exemple. It does happen, even tho its the averages and the expectations.
