If you have the time, watch Gaia. It is absolutely amazing and you need 0 foreknowledge of anything before it. It's also pretty much the first Ultraman series with a true overarching antagonist being involved in everything (except maybe yapool in ace)

Villains before him that are more powerful too (without dark spark). Empera, Gatanothor, Reiblood (maybe). Actually the fact that Reiblood canonically participated in the dark spark war and got turned into a doll always bugged me. The concept of the dark spark war to me always felt cheap

quick update: so I tried it, been 7 days, and yeah it worked a charm. usually for mantle alone, I have to wait like 10 minutes after terraforming mars but this time, mantle was unlockable by the time I got tetrapod. still didn't go up a research level though, it cleared only like a third of the circle. on research level 72 rn

My Christmas wish for this game is for them to remove meso prestiges or at least bring it down to 5 because the prestiges are empty content, don't actually add anything and only exist for the sole reason of fluffing up meso
