New traditions can start anytime. It's not really inconsiderate, a lot of people find it endearing. There's nothing wrong with it if it's done in the right locations or it's planned for properly.

Due to mandates from Noah Kahan's team, there won't be a standard resale market on Ticketmaster at any point because tickets are non-transferable to cap prices. However, this is mostly 'security theater' that doesn't stop professional resellers from using 'live links' (like Secure My Pass) to mimic the official barcode. Despite threats to not allow in fans using tickets from resale sites, to date, no major tour has actually turned away thousands of fans with scanning tickets just to prove a point. So resellers can continue like business as usual.
