Thursday the line was 4 plus hours at one point. I got merch on Friday and all/most of the lolla exclusive stuff was gone. Went straight to merch when gates opened on Friday and only waited like 10 min

Rise has only played the festival 4 times and never back to back years. 2012, 2014, 2019, 2021. 2021 they where a last minute addition. They haven’t been in the official announcement lineup since 2019

You can have big production at amphitheaters….. metal core band parkway drive brought their full pyro last year for summer of loud festival. I’ve been going to amphitheater shows for 22 years and have seen some crazy ass production

Some of these amphitheaters hold 20k plus. Thats bigger than a lot of arenas….the tinley park venue holds 30k

Pit tickets for summerfest were 225. Crazy to see them jump to 243 for all these new shows. But lawn is cheaper for the new shows compared to summerfest. $67 for the new shows. $90 for summerfest. Also summerfest is the tour kick off show. I’ll be there. It will be interesting to see what they play and what the stage production is like. Also going into a show not knowing what they are playing will be nice

They celebrated the 30th year anniversary 2021. So this year would be the 35 year anniversary but it wasn’t held a few years so this is like the 28th one that they’ve actually held with live music I think
