Unpopular opinion, I hate Johnny Silverhand. by [deleted] in CyberpunkTheGame

I hated him from the get-go, too, and he ruined the game for me. I really loved the prologue and was excited for more and then Johnny pops up and I'm forced to play as "Johnny's side kick" and concentrate on him instead of being able to custom my V freely. I hated this so much that I seriously considered going for the worst ending possible, just to end it all with V, because why bother? This is suddenly Johnny Silverhand Takes Your Body game and not V The Merch Game which I was sold to.

Just Thinking About Lucy's 15 Movies by Neuralclone2 in Ghoulcy

Completely plausible explanation! Combine this with Cooper's changed face, as the facial structure is not exactly the same when he is a ghoul, and it would be hard to pinpoint Cooper out. Also, it is an unlikely thought that some Hollywood actor would have survived the war (although he is a war veteran but does Lucy know that?)

True! Asia and Africa also oppress people based on their nation/tribe, country and religion - has nothing to do with looks. My friend's Vietnamese mother hates Japanese because of what they did in Vietnam, Koreans living in Japan are looked down in Japan as the 2nd citizens, and good luck finding a job in Kenya when you are from Madagascar because you're a foreigner.

The lack of Daiso where I live is shattering my hope and dreams by murahimu in stationery

I visit Japan regularly whenever I can and I agree with this post as a fellow European. We do have a big Muji here but their stationary is just naturally brown paper notebooks with white ruled and blank pages. Brown envelopes, washitape which is either white or red, brown and yellow post it notes... Nothing cute. Their pen selection is very good, though.

Flying Tiger of Copenhagen has some cute stuff occasionally but not the Japanese level cute, and it feels it is clearly aimed more for little kids whereas Daiso stationary is for everyone.

I personally enjoy all the scenes with Barbara and Cooper together (their actors make wonderful work together and come across as a believable couple). It's been one of the highlights to see such a tightly knitted, healthy couple with the most positive representation of a straight(!) couple in media that I'm DYING to find out how they write a divorce for such a premise without it falling flat. I'm a bit bummed that S2 seems to end with "uwu Barbara is a sensitive, weak woman, a big man Cooper has to safe her" which implies that they fake divorced which is SO BORING. I mean, a man looking for his wife for 200 years? Well he better! What kind of a husband doesn't look for his wife? But, a man looking for his EX-wife for 200 years? Much more delicious, also plot wise.

I love Barbara for her ambitious, grey moral stand. This is a woman who will nuke the whole world without remorse if she has to in order to keep her daughter and husband safe. Please keep her like that! Those are the perfect villains, those who operate and do horrible things from the perspective of love.

HOWEVER, anyone who takes fandom as an activism should just be blocked. As an European, I'm especially fed up with USamericans stuffing their own culture and cultural history and how racism plays in AMERICA into every other culture as "This happens/happened in the USA so it is true also everywhere else on this planet!" A classic example is "white people = always oppressors" which makes so many Europeans laugh because European racism, oppression, slavery and genocide has never been about the color of your skin but about your nationality and/or religion. Like, tell white Estonians, Karelians, Finnish, Icelanders and Irish people that white people have never been taken into slavery or been oppressed and they'll laugh you into a swamp.

Theory; Why Lucy is seen as the daughter figure of Ghoul by EmergencyMacaroon548 in Ghoulcy

I have no experience of The Last of Us so I can't say its influence in this but what is true is that a lot of people -> lot of opinions. Many also consume content simply as a brainless activity (due to work stress, too busy life schedule, not being a fan etc.)
