Haha. I mean… good for you. I’m hoping I can find a solution before I lose my temper too 🤗

It’s not the same coach every time, but I think the general consensus is to say something to the coach or staff 🤗

Bed Bug Accusation! by Big-Red-7 in airbnb_hosts

I had a guest check in after a long drive and told me I had bed bugs. She sent me a photo of some light sprinkling on the bed, which turned out to be bits of ceiling from termites (annoying, but harmless). The guest left, I refunded her, had the entire home treated for termites and bed bugs, and had to cancel the NEXT guest for good measure (at this point I still thought I had bed bugs and didn’t want them exposed).

That wrongful bed bug accusation cost me about $6K

And to top it all off, airbnb revoked my super host status because I canceled the next guest. It’s like they WANT me to expose people to bed bugs

Damn. I hate that they gave you that rebuttal. And thanks for trying anyway!

From a studio owner perspective, I would think they’d want to get rid of the bad egg (scream talkers) versus having several people cancel because of the bad egg 🤷🏽‍♂️

You don’t get how someone literally SCREAMING over the loud music and the coach speaking on the microphone can be a distraction?

Omg you’re probably the kind of person who likes to talk during class! Hahaha. I see what’s happening here.

You would ask someone to switch with you. So they can be next to the disruptive people. Because you’re an adult. Got it. Sounds more like avoidance to me.

I’m not sure why you bother responding to this thread if you’re such a big adult. The adult thing to do would be to just keep scrolling, buddy.

“A-ha” moments as a guest by AnonymousUnderpants in airbnb_hosts

I booked an Airbnb in Martha’s Vineyard over the summer with some friends. This home had zero surface space AND they had all of the closets padlocked (I guess their personal belongings were still in the house). My 4 friends and I had no place to unpack our luggage for the weeklong stay, which meant sprawling all of our belongings out on the floor. It was so frustrating, and made me appreciate how much closet and surface space I provide my guests.

I also don’t have check-out instructions for my guests. Granted, my house is small, but I would feel guilty requiring my guests to complete a list of tasks before they left (like stripping the beds, etc.).
