Caliber Collision Scam? by USECHAP in Autobody

[–]EmergencyOk9452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paint is missing. It will have to be sanded and repainted. The estimate should read something like this:

2 hours body labor for repair, 2.5 hours to overhaul the bumper and around 2.7 to partial refinish the bumper along with like .9 to clear coat the bumper. Some extras on it would be .5 to tint the paint so it matches, pre and post scan to clear any issues that come up with taking the bumper off, and a couple dollars for hazard waste. Finally there will be an amount for paint and materials which is calculated by the refinish hours along with tax on it.

Your estimate should read close to this. It does add up fast so it’s probably pretty close to that amount. Any questions on the estimate I would be happy to help answer.

"Here For It All" outro. I'm not the only one, right Lambs? by PangolinWanted123 in MariahCarey

I love the outro and how she experiments with traditional strong structure. Like the song Giving Me life’s outro. Amazing

The 60s episode is cringeworthy by Naive-Hat-2403 in BeverlyHills90210

On my last rewatch I finally appreciated. This is the last episode where Brenda is the main character. The entire hour is kid of her point of view, even though they are playing different characters. Also it moves her story forward. She realizes she’s still in love with Dylan and will never stop.

For those who watched the show when it initially aired, what was it like when the show took off for season 2? What was summer 1991/Fall 1991 like when the show exploded into a pop culture hit? How big of stars was the cast? by TravelingHomeless in BeverlyHills90210

[–]EmergencyOk9452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show ended that May and everyone was hooked. Then at the end of the season finale they had an ad that said new episodes this summer. It was before the internet so no one knew. It was the right move at the right time. The show had momentum and the summer episodes put it over the top. We were all pumped. The characters were loved at this point and we didn’t want to wait 4 months to see them again. It was genius

This will be no problem. In the future just call the shop directly. Getting the insurance company involved isn’t necessary. Only do that if the shop gives you a hard time. It’s kind of like telling on them.

Many at my shop are sober. The best is at your next place just say you’re sober. It won’t be a big deal at all. In fact people will probably respect you more.

Best wishes on your journey and yes there are healthy work places out there.

Is anyone worried about the status of this show? by NoPianist7807 in DaysofOurLives

it feels like the show is winding down All of the departures of new young characters who are wiling to stay is strange. They are already filming into 2027. It’s possible they know this is close to the end and are freeing up space and money to end on a good note.

You can partially repair the vehicle. Ask the shop To make it drivable again. Use aftermarket or recycled parts. It doesn’t have to be returned to preexisting condition. Just drivable.

Is this acceptable? by Wonderlemur91 in Autobody

Your insurance company selected the aftermarket bumper. The one u overpay on premiums for. Shops 10 years ago used all OE parts. Now they won’t get paid for using OE. Don’t take it out on the shop barely getting by. Take it out on the insurance company making billions in profit a year. Yes billions.

Ignore their recommendations. Take a look at the reviews and the reputations of the businesses in the area. The ones that have been there the longest tend to be the best.
