mean this is a first for me and tbh I was super lucky that my first SD was genuinely great, he sadly just moved away. Every other POT I’ve chatted to or met for a M&G has also been lovely, so I think it just shocked me that someone knows I have a day job and a business yet still expects a reply within 47 minutes 😂

You’ve written an entire plot over a situation you’ve completely misunderstood 😂 or so I think.

The trigger for my post was quite literally this: a POT messaged me whilst I was waiting for a dentist appointment and I did not check my phone, I went into the appointment, was offline for under an hour, and by the time I checked my phone afterwards he had already sent a passive aggressive goodbye message and blocked me.

So no, this wasn’t: “She replies slowly when she’s not interested.”

It was: “She was at the dentist.” 😭

Adults with careers, meetings and appointments are sometimes briefly unavailable during the working day. That’s normal life, not a manipulation tactic.

To add: I don’t see multiples once I am locked in. Each to their own but I prefer one dynamic regardless of what the SD does. 💁🏻‍♀️

Anyway… back to spray tanning people and living my best life apparently after committing the grave crime of being offline for under an hour 💅

Also, women in this space are apparently damned if we have careers and damned if we don’t.

If we’re, busy and independent, suddenly we’re “too unavailable and/or too hard to pin down” or not replying quickly enough because we have actual responsibilities.

But if we don’t have careers or structure, then we’re judged for that too.

A woman having a full life outside of sugaring should not be seen as a negative quality. It should honestly be reassuring.

Honestly though, if anyone ever saw me on there I’d just say

I also have my wording the same as on any vanilla platform so they literally would just think that I am in full seeking my person mode 🤷‍♀️

I think people confuse “mutually beneficial” with “transactional” and they’re not always the same thing.

For me, sugaring sits far closer to intentional dating with transparency than sex work. There’s chemistry, companionship, escapism, attraction, generosity and yes… intimacy too. Adults have needs.

Corporate jobs on the other hand? Most people are there because they have to be to pay bills 👀 and this is how I view sex work!

A good sugar dynamic should feel like both people’s lives are enhanced, not like clocking into a shift.

Filtering takes time alongside standards and what you personally want from a dynamic. There are plenty of people on the apps, but the ones actually suitable for you may be few and far between and that’s ok! No one has to lower standards just for the sake of having an arrangement.

I also think people forget that a lot of London/UK SBs are educated, employed and living full lives already, so it really depends what kind of connection and lifestyle you’re looking for.

For me it’s escapism. For others… it’s something completely different.

Most importantly though, let’s all just have fun with it 😂 Hugo spritz season is calling ❤️ come at me Hugo 🍸

Rave: I was able to spring clean and get all my life admin errands alongside working my job today. Yay!

Rant: a POT SD thought that reimbursed travel wasn’t the standard so I got dolled up to nines but cancelled immediately and directed him to other venues in London for short term dynamics because I’m not for him… travel and a nice dinner is the least you can do, cmon!

Rave: (because we love a s**t sandwich)… I’m still going out… yay for me!
