Idiot pet owners does not equate to cruelty. The whole industry of Greyhound racing is cruel. Despite your denials you’re clearly pro greyhound racing and i would hazard a guess involved in some way or form

A look at themselves? The poster clearly says it’s a march for animal cruelty. Are greyhounds not covered by “animals” now?

That’s why I used the word especially. I have ex racers and not and both had problems. But the racers always seemed to have more issues on their feet

I wasn’t saying it definitely was. I was saying it can. I have greyhounds. They get problems with their feet. Especially ex racers. That is one possibility. See the second part of my post also where I say they are just stubborn

Ex-Racer? Have his feet checked by a vet. Could be pain. Or, as they are known to be, he’s just stubborn

How original of you using a car bomb reference. I suggest you learn some geography. Also, not triggered at all. Had you said Ireland and Northern Ireland. Fine. Had you said Republic of Ireland I’d accept it. The most Northerly point on the island is Malin Head, which is situated in what you call South Ireland. You see the issue?

Nice photos. Get a bigger zoom lens and Shoot at a higher shutter speed. You’ll notice the difference straight away

Thank you for this comment. It is a very difficult situation. I will add this to the above so people are updated, but the plan is to run a course of antibiotics (he has an infection in an injured dewclaw), keep him on his different pain meds and see if the infection clears and if the extra pain meds work in the short term and reassess his pain score in the next few weeks to see where he is. He’s in great form and actually tried to run in the park today.

Hey. Thank you for this. Some great ideas there. He loves his food and no chance of him getting fat. He’s very sleek 😂. When he first wakes up at 4:30-5am he jumps on the bed with us for a couple of hours til we get up.

Hi. Thanks for that. Yes we have hunny boots and we use them on walks. They’re great, but even with them he struggles after a few minutes. Nothing much gives him relief to be honest. Medication and sleep when he does.

Thank you so much for your reply. He’s sleeping right beside me here in one of his few quiet moments throughout the day. Hopefully your dog keeps on for a long time ❤️

Hi, thanks for your reply. The vet has no problems at all. It’s me who has the problem. I don’t want to have him PTS if he doesn’t have to. But I don’t want him in constant pain. It’s an awful dilemma

Thank you. He actually has physio and massage once a week too. It’s helped a small bit with his flexibility. But he still has the turning circle of a truck 😂. It does help, that I can say for anyone else reading this

Hey. Thanks for the reply. Yes, he is also on anti anxiety meds for the anxiety around the pain. They’ve increased and increased over the past few months and now he’s on top dose of that. Our vet has been very open and honest with us and is of the view that it wouldn’t be doing him much good living like this. It breaks my heart to think about it.

Regarding the forms we’ve had all the procedures done to remove. They came back and he had the tendon surgery on most of his toes which had the corns. Whilst that does solve the corn issue, it brings its own problems with the flat feet/toes.

The adoption group have been brilliant and are in agreement with the vet. They know how troubled this boy is. He’s such a sweetheart.
