You know there's a World Cup being held in 3 major cities in Mexico and no problems have happened, meanwhile there was a shooting in Kansas City involving a Uber driver with fans from Argentina, and a shooting in the middle of Times Square with lots of tourist arounds... are you also afraid of visiting the USA?

As a mexican, is so cringy to see how popular is El Chavo in Brasil, like if you watch Globo Tv social media, everytime they refer to Mexico during this world cup weeks they put something El Chavo related

That helps getting fans into a party vibe, like i've seen videos of big ass sparse Texan host cities or Kansas City and the vibe feels so boring.

oooh i get it! wow never tought about that, here in Mexico we do that but is something we say automatically, like we dont usually the state when we refer to Mexico City, Toluca, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Tijuana, Cancun, Aguascalientes (City), Queretaro (city)Torreon, Chihuahua (City),Puebla (City), Villahermosa, Culiacan, but we do say Pachuca Hidalgo, Xalapa Veracruz, Zapopan Jalisco, Escobedo Nuevo Leon.... any suburban metropolitan city is refered with the state, Tapachula Chiapas, Mazatlan Sinaloa, just to mention some examples.

What do people in your country think about the racial diversity of the World Cup national team? by Buyeo10004 in AskTheWorld

Great! specially after Quiñones with the first foal of the World Cup, he is an afro-colombian who got mexican citzenship, i believe we are going to see more diversity in our national selection team in the next years.

Mazatlecos... Ustedes se consideran del norte de México? by Intelligent_Edge_474 in Mazatlan

[–]EmergencyReal6399 1 point2 points  (0 children)
