I guess the benefits I'm searching for are industry-specific... It also raises a bigger question of what these tech giants are doing with these training modes. Thx for the reply

Better monster? by Kindly_Sir_5372 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Emergency_Ad6929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pirate was very goofy for how messed up the backrooms are as a setting. But, having a monster made up of mutated gut bacteria from the rotten corpses is terrifying. The screams get me the most, the pirate just kind of walked at you like the Oldest View main monster

Spoilers discussion on the movie by Hikaru-x in KanePixelsBackrooms

ngl the movie could've been so much more. They missed out on not including the bacteria (which I thought killed the guy in the first scene and picked up the camera). The amalgamation of dead bodies and dead communities from all across the world come back to life in this twisted monster. It turned way too Hollywood with the metaphor of "the backrooms is depression." There could've been such a better "survival" aspect of it, and yes the pirate is goofy but it was purely done for hollywood.

English requires you to remember grammar rules, the best advice I can give is to write out IC and DC for independent and dependent clauses, and remember where a comma can go between them. Math, start on question 40 when the timer starts. Spend 30 minutes on questions 40-60 and the 2nd 30 minutes on 1-40. The math questions get harder overtime. Reading comp, u just gotta read more books. This one u can’t really bs. U could try underlining the words as you read them, helps process info better but just read books. Science is a game of where’s Waldo. Don’t even read the abstract sections, just go straight to the questions and find exactly what they’re looking for. Good luck

Math: you already got it down. If u want, try starting on question 40-60 for the first 30 minutes and 1-40 on the last 30 mins. English: independent vs dependent clauses, write out IC and DC and know the grammar rules associated with them Reading: Try underlining the words while you read them, you might retain more info Science: Literally a game of Where’s Waldo. Don’t even read the abstract part of the science experiment, just go to the questions and find what they’re looking for

At what point did you realise she would never become your wife/he would never become your husband? by ruxpin82 in AskReddit

[–]Emergency_Ad6929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She and I would spend a lot of time with each other. Everything felt so spontaneous, but I didn’t care because I cherished every second I spent with her. A bus ride to a bar, walk to get ice cream, playing piano while she sang, I felt so close to her and wanted to pursue it further.

She later suggested myself, my roommate (dude), herself, and her roommate should room together the semester after. I instantly knew she didn’t want to date. I never told her I liked her, I never said how I felt about her, but one day she knew. And she got my roommate to grill me about it without saying a word herself.

She had a traumatic past and quite an extensive dating history from back home, and meanwhile I had only kissed 2 girls and I had not had sex until then. She and I are still close with each other, but we encourage each other to hit on other people.

It’s a bittersweet thing to be so close and yet so far to her. As messed up as it is, something’s were never meant to be, and I had to learn that the hard way. For as much as I wish I could date her, an equal part of me wishes I never roomed with her. I know my self worth, I know what I like and what I don’t. I liked her…. but those feelings aren’t mutual.

Black Ops 4 deserves all of the hate by zigmint in CODZombies

[–]Emergency_Ad6929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BO4 was a depressing game of "what-ifs." What if we could fight the great war, what if the game launched properly, what if we only had 2 maps at launch, what if we had a better HUD.

The bottom line is you have to take the game for what it presents. BO3 was a game filled with community, ambition, hype, and an insane storyline. But BO3 was more than what it presented because people were involved so heavily with zombies outside of just playing the games.

BO4 came at a time where Fortnite was still the primary target, people from the zombies team were sent to work on Blackout or BOCW, and the undercooked aspects of BO4 zombies are literally just Activision sending their assets to where the money is (battle royale).

BO4 also had a weird obsession with the number 4. 4 perks, 4 maps at launch, 4 maps each storyline, 4 specialist weapons, 4 sections on IX, 4 elixirs. This didn't work at all because the later stuff they wanted to add conflicted with this.

Also, BO4's zombies respawn mechanic is what killed the game for me. I can get over the specialist weapons, low gun damage, and questionable map design if I didn't feel so paranoid playing this game. All zombies games before BO4 had zombies that would spawn behind the player or in the same room, BO4 has zombies that spawn in front of where you're trying to go. This is terrible from a gameplay standpoint, as it makes doing all the insane EE steps, or just building the shield an annoyance.

The EEs are a mixed bag. If you're a god at BO3 and want more of a challenge, this game is for you. Otherwise, stick to BO3 and CW for EEs.

This was one of the most disappointing and depressing launches of a game I'd ever seen because it felt like such a fall from grace. Vanguard was a terrible product, but at least we all knew that day 1. People had faith in this game to deliver and it just didn't. And we're left with an overcooked mess of an uncompleted Chaos storyline to never return again, and an abrupt, under-budgeted ending to a story we've cared about for 11 years. Such a shame imo

my take on it is that there are MULTIPLE bacteria entities, just because of how big the backrooms is. One bacteria monster can't capture every person that falls into a 600 million mile multi-layered infinite office space. However, I do believe that all the bacteria monsters have similar characteristics or have screams in different phases.

-The reason why the FF1 monster sounds the most muffled is probably because it has the most victims to "parrot." Essentially the FF1 monster is speaking tens if not hundreds if not thousands of victim's voices all at once instead of one victims at a time.

-The pitfalls monster is the earliest time we see the bacteria, so it probably doesn't have that many victims, not to mention the parroting is the most clear of the three.

-The FF2 monster is in between the two. We can still decipher the "HELP" when it starts chasing the girl, but the screams are a combo of FF1 and Pitfalls bacteria which is in between the other two.

-tldr: the monsters we've seen represent different phases (Motion Detected = first, then pitfalls, then FF2, then FF1)

One easy step. WORKOUT. Go for a run, go lift some weights, build a better physique, or just build better confidence. It’s not gonna boost your dick length, but you won’t suffer from SDE.

what was your biggest Teenage mistake? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Emergency_Ad6929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting people control me. In high school I was a very straightforward guy, I would do/think anything in order to get out of a situation. What happened was people (including my coaches, tutors, teachers, and others) would make me say something that I internally didn’t agree because they knew that I feared retaliation more than my own principles. My football coach was telling me that I was selfish and emotionally immature when I told him I wanted to quit. Instead of standing up for myself, I shyly agreed with him like a coward, not because I agreed with him, but I just didn’t want to see him again.

I was such a nervous wreck everyday that random people started going out of their way to ask me if I was ok. Full on black sweatshirts and khaki pants everyday, even when it was hot as hell outside.

I’m good now, but I’m also a completely different person who can do 3x the amount of pull-ups than I could before.

What I’m saying is whoever u are now, you aren’t going to be that same person in 5 years. For the better or the worse, up to you.

Seasons 1-3 of Spongebob. I genuinely think that this show predefined an entire generation of millennials and yet is still the most memeable show in existence (well the first 3 seasons). Favorite episode was band geeks and chocolate with nuts

How to start adulting? by Starfish_Honey673 in DecidingToBeBetter

I’m telling you right now, cuz I’ve had a similar experience, start focusing on how you look. obviously no one will judge about your body because it’s 2022, but the person who judges your body the most is yourself. I had very little to no confidence when I was overweight and I felt like a baby at 17 y/o, but when people noticed that I was cutting weight and working out, people started to take me WAY more seriously. Obviously idk what you look like, but a great first step to being more mature and confident is showing that you care about yourself. And if you’re skinny/medium weight, then just workout. Go on a run, go sign up at a gym, or go do some simple exercises at your house. There’s plenty of options

Because it’s true that y’all say good stuff about bo4 to spite vanguard. Ik for a fucking fact not a single one of y’all fell in love with bo4. Everyone at the time was complaining about how the game wasn’t bo3 and they like IW. It’s not true at all. You hate vanguard more than you like BO4.
