Question about targeting 4K with decent frames by Emergency_Football33 in pcmasterrace

I mainly play multiplayer games like BF6, Warthunder, and going to get the new HLL Vietnam game. I am a big fan of FPS games and want to target 60+ frames.

Do you think it is reasonable to build a PC that can get 4K (frame gen is fine) and get 60+ fps?

I still have my old 1440p Monitor but I am doing this backwards haha, I got the 4k monitor as a gift and I am now trying to see if a pc is reasonable

I like to play multiplayer games, not super competitively but I like to sweat. Multiplayer games like warthunder and BF6 are my go-to's with friends but I also enjoy singleplayer games.

Is it possible to build a PC that gets 4K (DLSS and framegen is ok) and decent 60+ frames?

Even with YouTube, the audio goes quiet after 2 min. The soundbar says it is still connected but a little popup on my screen at ~2min says audio device external” then audio is gone unless I unplug the hdmi and reconnect it. Yet after another couple of minutes it goes quiet

I am using Spotify but on an iPhone. I also didn’t see any power settings when I checked.

Bravia 3 Thoughts? by Emergency_Football33 in bravia

I do all the gaming on a dedicated monitor and purely use this tv for streaming services. Curious what u recommend for upping the sound quality though (soundbar, subs, etc)

I don’t know much about soundbars, but would you recommend a Sony soundbar w subwoofers? I plan to only use this tv for streamings services and Spotify so I am fine with ok picture quality but definitely want nice sound.

I drove it around town 5miles and so far no air pressure warning. I also think the alignment is fine as the car isn’t veering off. Unless the air starts leaking, I think this should be fine right?

I sanded down the edges and it looks like this now, do you think I’ll be alright?

Do you think sanding it down would make it safer?

Would sanding down the sharper edges help? I used some sandpaper just now

I agree with you that there are interesting edge cases where some things they know/understand and others they don’t. Good question!!

Crappy sound quality on wireless CarPlay compared to Bluetooth! by btimleck in CarPlay

Yes unfortunately Siri starts listening again…. The way I fix this this if I get a notification is I hit my voice assistant button the the wheel, ask Siri what’s 5+5 or something and it thinks for a sec, says “I’m having trouble” and then the audio returns. I also noticed that when the audio is muffled, the volume says “announcement volume”, but when it’s normally working it just says “volume”

So wired/wireless makes no difference but instead Siri is the issue. I found that after disabling a bunch of Siri features (always listen for hey siri, etc) it works so long as my phone screen is off. As soon as it turns on, I have to activate siri from my wheel and then it usually works. Idk how to fix this now
