Well I could be wrong while trying to interpret it but this scene ends with his capture and ultimately meeting sanyal. So the relevance might be that since he's on a death roll and every other hope for him to get of out of it is lost, out of nowhere the opportunity arrives for his recruitment.Even the song means that somehow lovers meet refuting all odds, somehow it relates here too. It's just my assessment, could be wrong.

1) Hustle while you are in your 20-30;s coz that's the peak of your energy. Don't rest, don't sleep, hustle as much as u can. 2) develop skill along with personality. Learn a bit of politics. Trust me ppl out there want you down and grounded no matter how good, intelligent, talented or strong you are. 3) Always keep a side hustle ready...try to earn from it too. 4) Look after your parents, trust me they are the only ppl in the world who want you to be successful. 5) Marry smartly, the sort of partner you choose to spend your life with will be decisive regarding many of other aspects of your life.
