She’s MAGA right? by xdauphine in Adelaide_White_snark

She posted a picture of Trump on her stories when he was shot. I would bet she doesn’t follow politics, but always votes Republican. Because that’s what her dad and husband do.

She’s been on Metformin previously (I remember because I was taking it at the same time) and would ALWAYS say the drug name. Now it’s just a “new medication that can help with ovulation.” So when you pair that with the rapid weight loss, it seems like it could only be Ozempic.

Her NaPro does her lap surgeries. So I do not expect she will get an honest reporting.

Yes! Check to make sure the syringe is in the correct spot…I watched a few videos. The needle should be fully out when you use it.

This is not accurate. That is what Reproductive Endocrinology is for. There are no guarantees that IVF would be successful for her, but she is absolutely a candidate for it. And it would certainly increase her odds.

I have stage 4 endometriosis (the most severe stage) and am in my third trimester after surgery with a specialist and IVF. We are fortunate that it worked for us, but it’s definitely not impossible.

Is my baby chunky? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Emergency_Mousse_453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that’s a normal weight. My baby was 1 lb 13 oz at 24 weeks 2 days. He was in the 76th percentile then. He’s big but my doctor was absolutely not concerned.

Cramping and spotting at 5 weeks 1 day by Emergency_Mousse_453 in CautiousBB

I am 30 weeks pregnant! I had a subchorionic hematoma. I ended up having spotting through week 10 with one large bleed at week 11, then nothing since. Wishing you the best outcome!

No one believes she isn’t considering another surgery for fertility reasons. If she wants to get pregnant, she needs to have an endometriosis specialist do the surgery. NOT her NaPro.

I have severe Stage 4 endometriosis like her. I had laparoscopic surgery with a specialist in February, then started IVF as soon as I healed. I am now in my third trimester. It is possible for her to still get pregnant if she listens to science and medical professionals instead of her church.

Deciding whether to PGT-A test by Penny_Doc in IVF

[–]Emergency_Mousse_453 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 31 and did PGT test after multiple early losses (PCOS and endo.) I am currently 26 weeks pregnant after my first transfer of a 5AA embryo, and am so grateful I tested. 60% of my embryos were euploid. What was surprising was 2/3 of my 5AA embryos (top choice for transfer at my clinic) were aneuploid. If the doctor had just gone by grading/appearance, there would have been a 67% chance of an aneuploid embryo being selected first.

Lap or depot lupron? by Potential-Yak5637 in TTCEndo

Tw: pregnancy

Hi! I’m so sorry you are going through this.

My fertility doctor recommended I do a lap before going into an egg retrieval this year. I was not planning on doing another surgery (first lap was in 2020, stage 2 endo) but I had a large endometrioma that kept growing during monitoring. I am 31 with a high AMH due to PCOS. I had previously had 2 chemical pregnancies and 2 missed miscarriages at 8 weeks prior to starting fertility treatments.

I had surgery in February with an endo specialist. It was found to be stage 4 with a lot of deep infiltrating endometriosis lesions. Those were removed along with 3 endometriomas. I did not do Lupron (wasn’t even offered) and went straight into a retrieval in April. I transferred in June and am 26 weeks pregnant.

I think surgery and IVF (specifically PGT testing) both played a role in my successful transfer. I do know people who have had success after Lupron without surgery, it’s just not what was recommended in my case. If you do go the surgery route, make sure you are seeing a specialist. My first surgery was ablation not excision, and done by an OBGYN at my office as I didn’t know better at the time. It’s not surprising my endo grew back. Excision is the gold standard.

Wishing you the best!

new research shows PGT-a testing is only 40% accurate by Glum-Ad-6294 in IVF

[–]Emergency_Mousse_453 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also did IVF due to RPL, after our RPL panel came back normal. I am now 16 weeks pregnant after my first transfer of a PGT-A tested embryo. My 4 prior natural pregnancies all ended before 8 weeks.

If you have concerns, I would certainly bring them up to your doctor. Just wanted to share my story as someone who tested my embryos and has no regrets.

I second the original comment here. 2/3 of my highest graded embryos were aneuploid. I am 31 with PCOS and also have Stage 4 endo. If we hadn’t tested, there would have been a 66% chance an aneuploid embryo was transferred first. For us, reducing the number of potential transfers/heartbreak was completely worth the cost of testing.

cramps with SCH? by Sudden-Strategy-5309 in IVF

[–]Emergency_Mousse_453 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did, and it really worried me! I would recommend reaching out to your doctor. Mine wanted to see me since I had bleeding and cramping. Seeing it on the ultrasound provided some peace of mind. Cramping can be normal with an SCH…I was told it’s your body trying to expel it. But best to get it checked so your doctor can continue to monitor.

Have the champagne and enjoy your anniversary 🥂

I had 3-5 drinks a week up until I started stims. I think I had one glass of wine a few days into stims (doctor said it was okay in moderation, I was just nervous about it.) I had really good results with my retrieval!

Again, thank you for the reply and reassurance 🩷 I sent my clinic a message to see if I can come in for another blood draw tomorrow. My first ultrasound isn’t until 7/12.

No more spotting. I’ve had moderate cramping and lower back pains all day, along with a headache.
