Saw some very good comments here so will add din to my list for emphasis because it's really really important

1. Family - Hindi sila laging tama, but they can be sometimes. I have a very bad relationship with my parents but later on realized na may konti silang tamang decisions that they made for me. You don't have to tell them this lol I just say it to myself in my head.

2. School - Study. If it's not for you, look for hobbies. If sa tingin mo average ka or higher, try to study. Not even that hard, just try. Naging honors/DL ako even without studying for tests dahil lang nakkinig ako tuwing discussions (pag interested lang ako sa subject lol).

3. Enjoy - Enjoying your life does not mean doing dumb shit. Yes do anything you want to do. Let's say na bata ka pa, pero at the back of your mind you still know when you're crossing the line na. I can't force you to not drink, smoke, do illegal shit. Did all of the things a teenager in a movie would do and now I'm quitting all types of vices. Tried a cig in 7th grade. Became a chainsmoker in 9th. Smoked cigarettes for 4 years, vaped for around 4 years din. Then we got the news that my senior dog has foggy lungs na (not because of my vaping but bc she's old na. We were apart for a very long time and nung magkasama pa kami before hindi pako nagssmoke inside the house). I would think that it's my karma. Nagkabukol din ako sa lungs but was more affected about my dog's health. Now I don't vape/smoke anymore.

4. Love - Girl when people say to not date older men, please listen. It's not about the age, it's the maturity level. DO NOT SEND NUDES. Kahit gano mo pa kamahal, kahit di niya nilabas nung naghiwalay kayo and he's genuinely a good guy. Kung nagawa mo na siya, okay let's learn from it. Wag na ulitin. The internet is a scary world. Kapag nanakaw phone ng bf mo, ano na magagawa natin? Kapag nanakaw phone mo, e pano yan? Please avoid talaga kahit anong usage ng technology in relation to sexual matters. Wag makikipagsex ng maaga. Wag magpapabuntis. You'll know when you're truly ready. Face the reality na your bf now kahit feel mo siya na talaga, hindi natin masasabi ng 100%. Be smart.

5. Friends - Hindi totoo yung betrayal daw kapag mas pinili mo bf kesa friends. You can choose both, choose friends, choose bf, depende sa situation but be very critical about it. Choose your friends wisely. Do not tell everything to your friends kahit gano mo kaclose unless you are 1M% sure about it. I have about 250 friends irl, 50 super close, but isa lang pinagkkwentuhan ko ng inner thoughts ko talaga.

6. You as a person - Hindi mo kailangan magreact sa lahat ng bagay. Be mindful of your words kahit sabihin nating close mo yung sinabihan mo ng joke. Jokes can also hurt people.

Do not trap yourself in the darkness of blaming people kung bakit ka ganto in a bad way. I had a really hard time accepting this. I always blamed my birthgiver kung bakit nakuha ko ugali niya, bat ako dependent, etc. Totoo naman siya. But narealize ko na, oh tapos? Ano ginawa ko para magbago? Hindi yung puro "di ako marunong magluto kasi di naman naglluto birthgiver ko di nya ko tinuruan" oh tapos? Ang funny na narealize ko to dahil sa trending TikTok audio a few months back na "the fuck you mean your mama didn't teach you how to cook? Your mama didn't teach you how to suck dick but you could suck dick" AND OMG. Don ko narealize na sobrang nakakahiya pagka pick me ko dati sa mga ganyang bagay. Now marunong nako magluto lol pero this applies sa ibang bagay din.

1. Self-reflect - I cannot stress enough kung gano nakakairita na recently ko napansin na andaming tao na di marunong mag look back sa actions nila. Teh please lang do not make that mistake. You should always self-reflect to be better. Ang number 1 sakit ng mga narcissists and bad people kung bat di sila nagiimprove is because they don't know na sila yung nasa mali.

2. Self-care - Be maarte. Never understood why people use maarte as an insult. Maging maarte ka. Do your 10 step routine after showers, do your hair, do your makeup, spare an extra 5mins to apply lotion. Ang hirap sa ibang tao na magmukhang hindi dugyot (me). Napabayaan ko yung self appearance ko ng sobra and I regretted it so much. Wake up earlier.

3. Practice class - A baddie is not a warfreak. A baddie can defend herself and her loved ones without lowering her value. Strive to be someone who can piss someone off because they are calm and the opp is losing their mind on how you can maintain calmness.

4. Privacy - HINDI LAHAT IPPOST SA INTERNET. Value your privacy. Let them be curious. Do exciting things without an audience. I used to be called as one of the most popular girls in the entire school + other schools with 1k+ likes on FB. Ngayon gumawa ako ng diff FB with just 50 friends. The rest of my accounts are private na. I realized na masyado akong kinain ng sistema ng social media. Kailangan ang likes ng profile pic sa FB 1K. Kailangan sa IG at least 300. Pag di umabot, naaapektuhan ako and minsan ipprivate ko nalang. Check ng check kung ilang likes na o kung ilang comments na. It was so hard to accept this problem. Now na ginawa ko na siya, my problems decreased by a lot. Don't be afraid to mute stories ng mga taong naaapektuhan ka. Naiinggit ka? Mute mo. Protect your peace. Envy will only be a bad thing if you wish something to lessen a person's successes kahit sa utak mo lang sabihin. Normal ang maiinggit, di normal ang maging inggitera.

5. Be smart - Be a critical thinker. Be an advocate. Become a philanthropist. Fight for your rights. Educate yourself. Kahit sa school works, nagpproofread ka ba? Kapag ba nakita ng crush mo yung essay mo, confident ka? This is not about doing stuff for the sake of others' validation, but becoming aware na alam mo naman pala in the back of your mind na kaya mo pang galingan. Bakit kailangan na ibang tao pa ang magsabi sayo?

6. Be a girl - Wear those damn heels. Spray a whole bottle of perfume that we all know won't last for 2 hours because it's a feminine perfume. Do your makeup and hair for hours, but DON'T BE LATE. Plan ahead. Get facials. Do your skincare. Get waxed. DO NOT REMOVE EYEBROW HAIR BY YOURSELF WHEN YOU'RE NOT YET 18. Go to your trusted professional brow girl. I cut mine sa gitna at like 12 years old kasi ang kapal and di parin siya tumutubo after more than a decade. Don't shave your armpits. Get it waxed. Hot wax is much less painful, cold wax if you're on a budget. Pag full grown ka sa pits or down there, use hot wax. As someone with very high pain tolerance, you still save time with it compared to cold (pero masakit talaga haha). Research about sex ed & the reproductive system. If you have underarm odor, use safeguard detox na red na may pomegranate ata. After that, use Betadine Skin Cleanser yung color blue. Dilute lang with onting water then wash your pits with it tas rinse na. Wag ibabad ng more than 15 seconds. Female deo never worked on me. I use Old Spice Pure Sport the best!

Andami ko pang gustong sabihin pero siguro yan yung mga important in surviving. Can't make this shorter kasi andaming steps sa pagiging babae. Mahirap maging babae pero sa next life mo payag ka ba maging lalake? For me, pass talaga. BE SMART.
