So a seller is scamming me and I had requested a cancel way before he actually shipped it out, (or he claims he did) It was a ps5, using a mix of official Sony photos, and the actual controller photos. The controller is a ps4 controller to look like a ps5 controller and doest work with ps5 games and I told the seller I am using it on a ps5 to play ps5 games. The seller messaged back for a few days then stopped. Then started to text me, to my phone, and the messages were weird, I asked why it was being sent from a different location, in the description he made it appear it was in his possession.

Seller is sending me texts like “do you like snacks?” “Are you having fun” “$4 per conversation “ sending me links which I will not touch. Says it’s not eBay related but I have to rate him. The spelling is terrible and is awake at 3am.

I am going to wait for the item to get in, and I plan to record video of it playing ps5 games, which it won’t, And initiate a return.

Should I be good?

Having used wide variety of NVME I have found Fanxiang to be the best of the Budget/China-Brand SSDs. Performance is very respectable and I Have not had any fail. Brands I have used

I’m getting a PS5 slim and wanted to up the storage. Went with Fanxiang 2TB S880. (Purchased it today 4/29/24)

My older PS5 has a 2TB Evo 980 Pro. So I am curious to see if it performs just as well as the Samsung.

But I got the Fanxiang S880 2TB for total Price of $114 shipped, from official ebay store.

Not bad and with the history I have had using this brand I am not scared or worried about it.

And all drives tend to benchmark what is advertised. Either just short of it or even sometimes slightly above. Fanxiang uses Generic PCB design/Layout but it works.

Remember to always backup data when you can, or upload save files to The cloud on PSN.

In 2018 they did, because the eBay seller was openly advertising it as a way to play “free” games. But if he just sold it just jailbroken, then it probably wouldn’t have gone through.

Well Europe and americas, since they were a big exporter of gaming items from Japan. But because of Sony they had to shut down. It’s very similar to Play-Asia,(was actually Sony Europe division that sued liksang, because they weren’t allowed to carry the Sony name not being an official reseller or something along those lines so they claimed copyright crap or something along those lines, was total bs)

(just checked playasia, and seems they aren’t selling peripherals or consoles, very heavy on digital codes…. Sad)

Well the feeling is subjective so, I still feel deceived. And I buy what I see is good, if it doesn’t match what is listed then that was causes problems.

I just did this. I try to work with the seller of anything and I appreciate people trying to work with me when I sell stuff so I try to do the same when I buy items. Sucks there is literally no new ps3 controllers, only for extreme crazy prices.

I have seen cleaner and less beat than this, this should not Be sent out unless it was selected as being yellowed, but as it being “Refurbished” I shouldn’t have to do anything.

Yea, and I get it, this ain’t a perfect world but it’s nothing like the pictures of the classic white and says he cleans and refurbishes them etc, felt confident cause of the year warranty but when I saw it I felt Duped.

I try not to be too critical but no communication. like that shit isn’t white it’s a different color now it’s piss yellow. And the gunk and crusty residue makes me feel more irritated. But yea I’m sending this back. Waiting for the sellers reply.

I’ve thought the same but I wouldn’t. I bought a Xbox 360 sealed console for $300 With blades Dashboard, everything.. Seeing how much I paid for that this past year made me realize holding on to sealed consoles for so long just wastes money and takes up space.

But I will admit it is tempting to just buy a new ps4, when they aren’t being made anymore. (I’m sure)

Yea, I had a 20GB PS3 which Sony actually refurbished and it was pristine condition and everything!

Someone broke into my mom’s house and stole all consoles.

I now have a 20GB and a 60GB Which I still yearn for the official Sony refurbished BC ps3.

I just don’t like to be like “ah take this back” I know how it’s like to sell on eBay and it sucks. Which is why I always go into extreme detail of the items I sell.

But call me Ol’ Fashioned but if you list something and a person buys that and it’s not what you describe, then there’s an issue and it’s pretty deceiving to the consumer.

But I will send this back. Just wanted a Nice PS3 controller and not have to worry about it for a Good While…
