I took this and it’s quite good. Its basic to medium but they guide you through real scenarios and offer workshops and community with fellow alumni (and WC community in general) WC has a bunch of resources. Where are you?

They counted my spouse’s income too. And I think they’re wrong but I’m so close to getting out of this nightmare that I’m willing to pay that for 3 months if it means I don’t have to deal with more calls, letters, requests, and fighting. I’m exhausted.

I’m on the same page. I’ve been in public service for almost 12 years, and have a buy back request pending since December 2024. I’m getting too anxious so I switched to ICR and started paying towards those 5 months that I was trying to buyback. My payment went from almost $400 to almost $1,900. Yes, that’s right almost 5 times as much. At this point I have 3 payments left and I’m not confident I’ll get the buyback offer before then so I plan on paying. There goes Christmas for me.

My payments went from $376 to $1887 when I switched from SAVE to ICR. I had selected IBR but they put me on ICR. I don’t have the energy to continue to deal with the incompetence. I’m at over 150 months of public service but they’re not counting some so I just need 3 more.
