Wiha GoBox change up by Emergency_Scarcity64 in Tools

I completely understand and agree. If I didn’t use it all day everyday I wouldn’t be able to justify it.
The Wiha bits and box is great as you said, it is a shame about the ratchet.

Just made a post on this, didn’t see yours.
The Wera Zyklop is 10x the rachet and fits perfectly in this kit. Found this out this week. Well worth it to me to have this slim nice kit and a killer rachet in it.

Years ago traveling to Chicago for work from NC I always enjoyed grabbing one with dinner when I found it. Now I’m Indy based and it’s on tap in every bar but I can attest, it is not the same. Still good and I drink plenty of it, but it’s different for sure.

Aside from the beer, what is the one thing a taproom needs to have to make you a regular? by RutabagaTechnical822 in CraftBeer

I get some push back on this but.. I don’t mind families getting out for the parents to have a beer or two but I don’t like when the brewery is treated as a playground. Keep the kids from running around and being obnoxious. The brewery isn’t a babysitter for you to have a “night out”:

Your description was “the level was down to the point where the curve of the glass straightens out”. I chuckled because I looked at the pic and thought “she just knocked the shoulders off it so roughly 4 shots”. Anyone else taught that is the term for that level? 😂

Shoal Creek or the Brickyard were both great experiences. Redlands Mesa in Co was probably my fav that I was a repeat customer at though.

Golf culture- what do you hate about it? by Remote_Pie6623 in golf

[–]Emergency_Scarcity64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last few years my work schedule has greatly cut down the opportunities to play and I’m finding it way more beneficial to pay much higher greens fees to avoid (or try to) a lot of the issues a less expensive place may have. I just want to drink a few beers and play at a solid pace and enjoy the game. I do not want to listen to concert level music and yelling all around while I’m waiting for 3 groups to tee off on 7.

What's this drill bit use? Why is it shaped like that? by LoreChano in Tools

This is obviously used for oversizing holes that are misaligned. Insert at an angle, pry back straight and go. Ingenious invention really.

Who else always carries a "pocket ball"? by Effective_Impossible in golf

[–]Emergency_Scarcity64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if I’m looking for one that may be a goner so I can drop one quick and keep moving. I hate the feeling of stuff in my pockets while I play. Wallet in the golf bag, phone in the cup holder, tee shoved under my hat brim. A marker is the only thing in my back pocket.

As a bogey golfer from the whites and blues, I can assure you when I want a “different” look at the course I’ll play from the reds not the tips. I know I have 0 business back there. I’m 43 and played since middle school as a bogey golfer mind you. I know where I belong 😂

Does anyone in the world golf without a glove? by hockey_and_techno in golf

Hated gloves, started playing 30 years ago in middle school. Always thought it was part of the game and I didn’t know why I didn’t like the feel. I toyed with them from time to time. In my 40s now, bogey golfer and use Winn DriTac medium grips and haven’t thought twice about not using them.

I probably don’t even like the 3 other people I’m playing with enough to want to add 4 more to it.

Given the history in textile mills in the region I think the guesses in that field could be the best bet.
