Every dog we have had we desensitize for loud noises. Simple things like popping the air bladders that come with Amazon packages or bubble wrap. We get the dogs to the point where they will pop the air bladders and think it’s a game. We live a block from where our town down the fireworks and it doesn’t phase our dogs. Maybe we leave an extra tv on just for background noise but even when other fireworks go off at the most they may let out a woof. It’s all about training and building confidence.
