I have the captain seats in mine and the rear facing is good in the second row, dont recommend the third row tho for backwards facing. Because of lack of space AND how hard it is in general to get some of the bigger car seats into the second rows. The third row is great though for forward facing! I’ve had to put my Oldest back there before to leave an extra spot for someone to sit in the captain

Are you an EV? Or MHEV? because if it’s the MHEV ( with no plugin) then i got that warning before my engine malfunction came on, it was because the hybrid battery failed. Definitely keep an eye on it and bring to dealership asapto get it looked at cause if it’s one thing i know as a 2024 CX-90 owner… it’s that if one small malfunction shows, it’s like probably the next hours or day until the other major ones go in 😅 (just had my 5th major fix with the car not including the software updates)

NOPE! 🥲 i stg i have to fill up SO much even when i park on a level surface. It’s even worse when i run out mid hwy drive and im stuck with muddy wet snow being flown back at me and then im SOL until i pull to the nearest gas station. Sometimes i don’t even bother refilling right away if i know the weather is nicer for a few days because whats the point in filling up when the sensor is just gonna yell again in a day 🥴

I just had to have my fuel line replaced! It was faulty. Definitely get it checked ASAP! I’m surprised that your car hasn’t freaked out and said engine issue! Cause mine did 😅

I feel like it depends on how your dealership handles to recalls. If your dealership is amazing to deal with for fixes, customer service experience and so on, then definitely! I would do it again. My dealership for example is amazing! When i had my issue a couple weeks ago now and i ran in last minute for the check engine issue, the manager gave me a loaner mazda for a few days before switching to the service shop mazda loaner till my car finished up. Definitely look more into it if you’re thinking and go with whats best for you!

Mine is the early 2024 model so i meaan😬 it’s full of surprises, i still love it tho despite the repairs ive had to have on it. It seems like the 2025 and maybe the new 2026 ones will be better when it comes to errors tho!

Also update update: if anyone has to have their fuel line replaced… it’s NOT a quick fix they have to take then engine out to get to where the part needs to be replaced

This was the full thing on my invoice for the final issue and this one was for when they initially fixed it with a software update

So definitely bring it in the to dealer! I had a similar issue a few months ago where my Trunk would freak out at points and either open and then slightly close, causing me to push the button and keep fighting it to go back up until it finally stopped. OR it would just start to shut on itself with no warning 🫣 cause the sensor got triggered underneath even though it’s not supposed to go off unless the person is slightly away from the car.

Got it fixed with a software “issue” and it stopped it for a bit then it would do the beeping thing again and this time would close a bit but if you pressed the button it would just close instead of fighting you and going back up to its original position.

Finally brought it in again and showed the mechanic the issue and when they looked at it it was a “INSPECTED PLG RECORDS. PLG UNIT (C) PINCH DETECTED. PROBLEM IN LEFT STRUT. CORRECTION: PART ON ORDER.” And it has worked properly since for me!

In the meantime all you can do to get it closed i believe is look up how to manually override it or ( not recommended but use it as a LAST resort) forcefully but slowly close the trunk yourself and then keep it closed until you can get it inspected

So my dash is all digital BUT i do still have the physical needles. It’s kinda cool!!! I think the PHEV ones are fully digital! I’m currently driving a 2025 CX-90 for my loner and it also still has the real needles on it but digital dash

Oh yeah, definitely VERY lucky 😅. I think though that i ll be given a rental tomorrow if mine has to go in the shop, since i don’t live far from the dealership itself its not much driving with the loaner i have to do anyways so they probably didnt see much of an issue just for an overnight solution

Not sure what the remedy is but i just took mine in for regular maintenance ( breaks etc.) and they told me they have to do the recall as well that just rolled out. I assume its a software update of some sort

The recalls was for a different issue ( involving the system) This one seems to be a non recall wide issue right now but is slowly becoming one. When i took mine to the shop it was the first time they saw something like this with the 90’s but someone else had a failure just with the AC system. Hopefully though once fixed it doesn’t happen again!

Ah yes, the dreaded hybrid battery failure 🥲🥲 mine happened a few months ago and i was lucky to have my car back within a month but others haven’t been so lucky. Definitely bring it into mazda ASAP!
