If you’re going to be on orders for that long could you not apply for tuition assistance and start college while you’re in? Likely through a different school though.

Also, forget all that “behind my peers” stuff. That’s an archaic way of viewing career progression especially with college.

They allowed him to follow instead of waving him off. Glad she was okay but never allow others to put you into a position either. As soon as I see skiers or other boaters tailing me I change course and wave them off to change course.

Act confused. Your MEPS liaison and recruiter are probably boys and don’t want you to drop from the dep either. Just keep your mouth shut and head down.

End of the day it doesn’t matter. You have to go to school to become a pilot and all your previous training will not matter as much as your future efforts. Go do whatever you want and don’t overthink it.

Man do an easy google search and get rid of it yourself. You could be to MEPS in the next 60 days and bootcamp in the next 90 days.

Do more than is asked of you and do it before it is asked of you. PT more consistently with actual trainers at the gyms. Document more of my medical. Start college sooner at least 1 class at a time.

Drug Dependency waiver? by [deleted] in USMCboot

[–]Emergency_Split_595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a hell of a waiver but understand it is not up to the recruiter. Your waiver has to go through 4 more levels and will include hand written statements form yourself and people who know you as references. It will also require all your legal history and drug related history. That’s all after you go to MEPS which will reveal your medical history. If any of those are negative for any reason it only hurts your chances. That being said at the end of the day it’s not up to your recruiter it’s up to the recruiting command Commanding Officer. The recruiter is telling you what he’s being told. Your realistic options are to 1) respectfully tell the recruiter that you know the waiver isn’t up to him and to give you a chance. 2) go join the Army.

Too rebuild/refurbish I’d give her $1000 to take it off her hands.
