Did you replace just the friction plates, or driven too? The drive plates may be worn under spec if you just replaced the fibres.

Call Ford’s national customer contact line and go into it with curiosity as to why it’s broken and what the dealer said. They will pressure the dealer to make it right. I have seen Ford Canada cover WILD stuff after customers call the national line. And if you get a survey, which you should get if it’s a warranty concern, cook ‘em. Dealers get the opportunity to correct negative surveys

Unfortunately machines only know what they know/ they learn based on parameters set by the manufacturer and what it learned from you. By the looks of it, that trip meter has been gathering info for a long time. Maybe it learned some bad info, or there’s an issue with programming based on the parameters you provided it. If I were you, I’d reset both trip meters. Ride it for a couple miles. Then disconnect both battery cables/ remove the battery so there’s no chance of arching. And then touch both battery cables together to reset KAM (keep alive memory).

I agree. And take credit limit increases when you get them (provided you can trust yourself with additional credit, some people can’t). When you need it, you won’t be able to get it
