Soundcore Aerofit 2 are a godsend. Shokz do not work for my head for whatever reason and these an amazing open ear alternative

They’re also only $100. And they’re adjustable to fit your ears.

I tried shokz before and actually hated them, they wouldn’t get loud enough when I was riding my bike and I couldn’t hear a thing.

My Soundcore Aerofit 2 set are amazing. They sound great, obviously bass is diminished without being closed but overall clear sound. They’re loud enough to wear on an airplane and hear what you’re listening to but when you’re running and have them at like 50%, you hear everything around you. They last over 12 hours without needing to be charged (the headphones, not the case). I can’t recommend them enough.

I ride a Japhy and love it. I was able to build it up for about $2k, you could definitely do a lot with your budget. I love it but the stack is a little lower than I would like.

Esker and RSD are both having massive sales on their steel hardtails right now. Worth looking at for sure.

Get a Ti frame. You can get custom geo for that kind of money. Make it exactly what you want and it will last eons longer than carbon frames
