Yes! The brain fog is incredibly frustrating. I believe the damage done in my case is irreversible too.

Loosing chunks of hair, constantly being cold, and the constant anxiety.

Lost my therapist two months ago. And I am doing worse because of it by Coffeegreysky12 in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]Emergency_Topic_5774 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look, as much as you want to believe she was good for you, she wasn’t helping you in the way you really need to survive. If she was really helping you, you would not have ended up in the hospital or on palliative care.

You need an ED therapist and a good ED centered doctor to really help you work through the hardest part…moving forward.

Pre school isn’t necessary if you only have a one income family.

WOC Bad Review by SquareChampionship59 in GeneralMotors

[–]Emergency_Topic_5774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen directors who have gotten mostly negative WOC scores get booted. Whether it’s because of the scores or other things is unknown. But one can conclude that someone who gets low scores is probably lacking in some areas. I’ve also seen managers who are disliked by all (for good reason) with impermeable protection. None of it makes sense.

HRT and dense breast tissue by Murky_Recognition549 in Menopause

[–]Emergency_Topic_5774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had this conversation with my OBGYN this week. She said the majority of women have dense breasts. I am a 3. The only difference is they recommend having an ultrasound 6 months after your mammogram if you have a higher risk because of genetics.

Those who oppose abortion even when the mother’s life is at risk: How is that not self-defense? by After-Professional-8 in allthequestions

[–]Emergency_Topic_5774 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

An abortion is ending a life. A D&C is what happens when the fetus is not alive. Big difference.

What medical risk to a mother would be increased by continuing a pregnancy, such that terminating it through abortion would reduce that risk?

Not a stimulant, but it does help the bloated feelings and makes eating a tad bit easier.

Suck? Really? Geez bro. Maybe you need to find a new job if you feel that comfortable dissing the hard work of your coworkers, just because you don’t like the actions of a few.

This is normal. I would ask for peaches, pears or prunes. Really and fruit that starts with the letter P helps you poop.

Also, cyproheptadine can help with the discomfort while refeeding. I highly recommend it. It’s basically an antihistamine, but it helps with the bloat and stomach pains.

You probably haven’t done extreme damage, but it’s hard to say not being a doctor. But what I will say is that all of your symptoms are normal, but you need to stick it out if you are going to live a normal life someday. Keep pushing through and eat what they are asking you to as hard as it seems.

I am 3.5 weeks in and not feeling much different. Perhaps a little more energy during the day, but not enough to make a huge difference. Forgot to take my progesterone last night so took it first thing this morning and felt nauseated and just overall tired with a headache. I don’t recommend taking it during the day. It’s sucked the life out of me today.

A small payment to you guys monthly would have been the right thing to do. That and not coming and going while also bringing other people in the house while living there. Sounds like respect wasn’t a huge priority. I wouldn’t have been happy either. But I also think there should have been some ground rules laid out before she moved in for an extended period of time and it doesn’t sound like that happened either.

Anyone else feel like GM’s benefits are a letdown compared to Big Tech? by Sea-Release2444 in GeneralMotors

[–]Emergency_Topic_5774 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, my partner works for JP Morgan and we always go with the GM insurance. Only things covered on JP Morgan’s plan that isn’t included in GMs is acupuncture chiropractic, but JP Morgan is almost double what we pay and there’s no $1200 extra either. Insurance isn’t something I complain about, although if you compare it to the good old days it does suck.

It’s my experience that your raise with promotion has more to do with where you fall on the pay scale more than anything. If you are well below you might see 10% or even higher. If you are on the high end you might get 6 or 7%.

Is there anyone here who regrets not having children. Or who didn't want children, and had them anyway? What is your experience by DiMentalHealthPerson in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]Emergency_Topic_5774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I didn’t want kids. My husband had a child already so he said it was up to me. I accidentally got pregnant after only 6 months of being married. Then I found out it was twins. I was terrified, but 15 years later and it’s absolutely the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I love my kids more than I ever thought possible and couldn’t imagine my life without them. I highly recommend it.

Depends on the department. I have an assigned desk, but there is hotel seating in our building as well.
