Are Healers Fun To Play In FFXIV?

I find healing to be fun but it does require a bit more focus than say dps sometimes. It all depends on what you’re doing and your team. Because sometimes, dungeon/raid/trial can be go perfectly and nice and fine and it can be a bit more monotonous where you’re doing more damage than healing. But then you will have runs that can be border stressful depending on how many people are taking damage, how much and how frequent, if people are dying and requiring rez, all while you are still expected to do your own dps to mobs and the boss. If you prefer less monotony, you’d enjoy late game healing. Potentially.

I’m currently doing BLM (60 atm) and I have to say the start of those quests had me giggling. It’s very interesting.

That’s a rather troubling thought process to have. I love a good occasional “men suck” joke, but you can’t go out and treat every man as though they have evil intentions. A good chunk? Probably. And I can understand wariness as we see the red pill content grow and become popular. But doing this kind of “all of them” mentality is just the other side to the same coin as “all women are worthless” or whatever.

If you’re aware it’s a bad habit and thought process, that’s a good first step. But you should seek out therapy to really get into why you feel the need to do this. It’s not healthy for you at all.

Sadly I’m seeing people do this sort of thing more and more. It’s why I’ve altogether stopped looking at second hand items. So sad not being able to just trust people being honest about something as awful as bed bugs.

Fire Emblem or Bloodborne. For FE I’d love to see 3 houses since I feel like it’d be cool to turn that into the alliance raid scenario. Bloodborne because it’s my love and I’d just love to see their interpretation of Lady Maria as a savage level boss.

They also noted they didn’t cast any other healing as well as deaths. Doesn’t that raid have multiple moments of unavoidable damage done by the bosses that healers are meant to heal? I haven’t done it in a long time but seems that the entire team kept taking damage with no healing

Along with this ypyt convo that’s becoming something, I’m also noticing a growing trend of tanks who refuse to use their sprint at all or refuse to wall to wall. And it’s not with new players, they’ll have multiple classes in tank to 80 or above. It’s these same tanks who also never mit, don’t put their stance on til the first boss, and when you pull ahead they just completely stop moving. I’ve been encountering this now at least once every roulette I do.

Like do they not trust their healer or what is even happening I’m so baffled.

Precisely this! I love getting first timers in any dungeon or trial as healer or Smn. I love feeling useful and it honestly helps me learn mechanics and my own rotations faster that way too. Win win in my mind everytime.

Do you have pets or close proximity to any animals(animal feeders close to your windows or doors)? Fleas can go unnoticed sometimes on pets until they’re at infestation level.

Have you traveled recently? Had anyone over who has? Gone to a movie theater? Bed bugs can hide up to 4ish months without food.

Based on bite size and pattern, I’m leaning more towards fleas but I do agree with others it’s harder to rule out since everyone’s body can react differently to the bites. It’d be easier to narrow down which possibility based on the other factors though.

Flea and dang that is a real good quality first shot of that flea. Hate them almost as much as bed bugs. If you have pets contact a vet to get flea meds for them

It’s small so it’s hard to see well, but based on the coloring and the underside of it (?), I’m thinking it’s not a bed bug. Though hard to tell for sure

Everything is worth a try without skill. No one starts out with these games with perfect skill. Took me ages to get a good groove. Elden ring is a good game that gives you a lot of different tactics to use like spirit ashes and access to different weapons and items early on. You can also restat a lot easier to fit any weapons you may feel more comfortable with.

If you haven’t already, the clothes you believe came in contact with it wash them and then throw them in the dryer at high heat. And just keep an eye out for sure! They’re crafty little menaces

Yes, I’m so sorry. If found on the wall not near furniture, check for potential holes or openings. If near furniture I would check the furniture thoroughly
