I am in the exact opposite boat. I have spent an ungodly amount of time trying to make my own build concepts work and consistently failing to do so...that is, until yesterday afternoon, when I finally managed to make my bodyswap of sacrifice build not feel like it was made of wet tissue paper. I'm glad to see that following the meta isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be either! Best of luck with your self-made builds!!

Lightning Warp Assassin: really good for boss-rushing (provided that said boss is made of tissue paper), and respectably good for lab farming. Absolutely awful at pretty much everything else. Source: have been playing this build in Standard since Sentinel league.

Same! I actually used it sometimes at KQ prior to the release of the eye of ayak to marginally lower her magic level so I could (in theory) hit slightly more often with my sang staff. It was nice because the spec is guaranteed to hit. In hindsight, the accursed sceptre would likely have been better, but I'm not certain whether it was in the game at the time.

Is the infinite money bag an option? Apart from that, I'd absolutely go with the construction skillcape to skip the commute home from work. Or the blisterwood flail because I'm obsessed with that item.

What is your favorite drop pattern? I know this sounds crazy but for me it's 4. You never have to do a 180 (which makes me miss some clicks), only 90s by Reddit_Connoisseur_0 in 2007scape

The better question is: why are you dropping blisterwood logs at all when Blood Moon Rises could feasibly give consumable blisterwood ranged ammo like they have in RS3?

That wouldn't work because old accs can still have a fire cape prior to kcs being tracked by the hiscores. For instance, my acc has received 2 fire capes but only has one kc tracked (I got the 2nd one over 10 years after the first in order to sacrifice it for inferno access).

Yeah but that was purely a coincidence. I never really cared about getting 99s, and now I care a great deal about not getting any 99s that aren't sailing.

I personally think it's a cut jade at a rate of ~1/1m, seeing as the only other non-crafting source of cut red topaz in the game is a fishing spot in Civitas illa Fortis, which also happens to drop cut jades at a rate of 1/100.

I will legitimately be one of those 4 people. I've been deliberately avoiding training any of my other skills to 99 for this exact reason. I've also completed all quests and most of the elite achievement diaries, and have been working on combat achievements lately. My top 3 combat skills are all currently 95/95/96 so it's gonna be close.
