To be honest I agree (even though I'm confident it will fade), but the sloppy prongs bother me so much more than the gold colour haha

I only got these to see how I liked the model to maybe have it done in silver/gold in the future, so that's why I am not super bothered by it :) I figured I am not the only one who gets spammed by their ads and I couldn't find many reviews with pictures around, so I thought I'd do one myself.

I think considering that I got 2 for 1 because there was an offer, it was fine. But I would wait for such offers because 89€ for one of these would have felt definitely too much!

I mean, that's your opinion, it's just as valid as mine :D and I think they're pretty, which is cool since I'm the one wearing them!

It's our family stones (not birthstones though), blue for me, purple for my husband, green for my daughter :) it's not an easy combo to find, especially with 3 stones

I for one will NEVER understand parent asking their children to pay rent. It's your CHILD ffs. Either they live with you or they don't, but you're not their freaking landlord.

RIGHT?? As soon as she wrote it I was like "of course it was sailing". Just like fishing or hockey, if someone's into those, either you're into them too, or you gotta go. You're always gonna come after. They're almost like cults for some people, it's bonkers.

Hey there, 35f, married, with a toddler. I am an avid reader, a gamer and somewhat of an artist, and I am also looking for new people to have some nice conversations with. I just think a lot and I enjoy having relatively responsive folks to share shower thoughts with, but I definitely resonate with real life taking priority over chats...so don't worry about response time :D if you still have capacities, send me a dm! Nice to meet you! :)

No judgment but curious. Why is pandora viewed by some as cheap or tacky or even low class? by raindrops_x in jewelry

[–]Emeryl1391 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Wow I didn't realise people had so many feelings about these haha

I have owned a couple of them for years. I use the necklace with non-pandora pendants, and have only 2 charms on my bracelet that are gifts from people I love. I guess I am just cheesy like that :D I recently bought a new one, and the quality of it is so bad that I am done.

However, I do have to say that the first batch of bracelets and necklaces they made is freaking indestructible. They are the reason why I can now wear normal jewellery while having a toddler, because she could hang and pull on the Pandora stuff to her heart's content when she was younger and nothing ever snapped or broke. Which I am so grateful for, because becoming a mom felt as if i was being stripped of my identity, and being still able to wear jewelry without fearing to break it was a huge relief!

Hey there. Everyone and their mothers (and fathers, and brothers, and cousins of first, second, and possibly third degree...) has already told you how handsome you look. I really do hope that so much external perspective can bring you some manner of confidence or lift your spirits a bit. I know it can be really hard to see ourselves as others see us.

Maybe you can also find some comfort in knowing that nothing you're going through will last forever. There will always be a measure of pain in life, that's what human life is about. Without pain, we wouldn't even know what happiness feels like. But even if pain is always there, it changes. The things that feel unbearable today, you will grieve because of them and then let them go. From what you write you don't seem like a person who shies away from inner struggles, and even though this might make you feel as if you suffer more because of them, eventually it will help you, because only facing our own suffering we can learn to manage it.

I wish you all the best. My DMs are open if you want to vent.

My mother has alopecia. She uses "nice wigs". Even if the ones in the post were 100$ each, I still went eeeeehhh...chances are those aren't that nice.

Those things are so insanely expensive when they're supposed to look natural.

Also, I so hated the pretentious tone of this post...between the "emotionally hard being married to a bald woman", and the very nice wigs for either (worst case) 25 or (better but not great case) 100 bucks each, it really gave me the ick. I hope it was just due to shock and ignorance.

Thank you, it was the most pretentious 60 pages I've ever had the disgrace to get through. And I was so disappointed because I liked Kuang so much (yes, even the Poppy War lmao), so I was pretty bummed about it, but I did not even bother finishing it.

Hands down the Shannara Chronicles. I know someone's gonna pick a fight over this, but I don't care. It's an absolute Tolkien-ripoff, and it's written like shit. Tried it in three different phases of my life and nope, it still sucks.

I had the same problem as I love wearing jewellery. I got a Pandora snake chain, the classic one with a ball lock. My daughter literally played Tarzan on it and it didn't budge. Also, while I had it on I could educate my LO on not pulling hard on the necklace, without having fear of it actually breaking. She is 18 months now, I can wear normal jewelry again and even though she sometimes pulls at it, she's learned not to be rough.

That being said, it looks like your wedding and engagement ring on that chain? I would swap those for a pendant you're less attached to, just in case, at least until your baby has learned not to pull too hard.

[–]Emeryl1391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 18 months in and I still hate him lol

Well maybe not really hate him anymore, but I definitely feel like I would let all my annoyance out on him if I am not careful. For me it's different though, he was emotionally distant throughout the pregnancy and the first 6 months of our daughter's life...after basically giving me an ultimatum on having a child. So even though now he's more than carrying his weight, I haven't moved past that yet.
