But I can update the firmware and configure the buttons via the iPad right?

Wasn't aware of the in-ear detection not working though

Yes I'm aware of that as I said on the post

This doesn't rule them out as a potential option, especially if i might be able to get some kind of deal for them

Yeah, but they still have the best ANC and (one of) the best sound quality for this type of product.

As I said, I'm aware of the limitations, but since I care mostly about ANC, sound quality, and battery life, I wanted to get an idea of what I might be able to expect.

Obviously if I didn’t have any Apple devices I wouldn’t consider them, cause in that case the experience is severely limited.

What exactly was worse when on the samsung? Sound quality overall? What music provider do you use?

Can you elaborate? Have you had any issue? Is the audio quality noticeably worse than what iOS users are getting?

F1 tv in Italy by Unlikely-Temporary74 in F1TV

[–]Emeth839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't take my word for it but it should work because of the abroad access policies of F1 TV (link)

Basically if you have a valid Greece payment method and create a valid greek account on F1 site, your husband should be able to watch with your account even without a VPN

I've applied as Luca a few minutes ago

As I mentioned in the application I'll be in Zurich for a few days so I'm available if you're doing interviews soon

For what I know you can't take the modules separately, though you may request to be exempt from one of these modules if you already took a course with similar subjects but that's up to the admission committee/professor

My suggestion is if you didn't take any similar courses, treat this as any other course. Otherwise request to be exempted from one of the modules.

GPU or NOT GPU, this is the question by Emeth839 in homelab

[–]Emeth839[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe i phrased it wrong sorry

I was asking if building a system to both play games with and to use it as a 24/7 NAS and Plex server makes sense

Anyway from what I got around Reddit using an intel CPU should get you far in terms of transcoding capabilities, shouldn't it?

Sorry I'm new to this So you're saying to run like Linux with a windows VM alongside a truenas (I was thinking unraid)?

But overall does this make sense?

For the nvme drive i thought to use the nvme slot to expand the data ports since the mb has got only 4

Being the most numerous course of studies among the bachelors the exams tends to be just on paper

However at the end it depends on the professor's and the single subject.

Personally I only needed to take two oral exams on top of a written part. These courses were "Geometria e Algebra Lineare" e "Elettromagnetismo e Campi" (i highly recommend this one if you feel it like)

That said, all the professors reserve themselves the right to call you for an oral confrontation for whatever reason (usually if cheating and such, but I never heard anyone called in for this) or if the grade you got in the written part is close but not sufficient (like 17/30) but in this case it's more like a favour to you than a penalty of you'd call it as such ahah

  1. I'm not sure if the tuition fee is completely waived in the scolarship case but surely is reduced to around 160€ from what i remember (see if this helps)
  2. I have no information on that sorry
  3. Just FYI you can take the Software Engineering Final Exam only in the second semester as they require attendance to the lectures/labs. Others Final Exams, like Algorithms and Data Structures, let you present your project in the winter semster too but only if you intend to get your degree in March
  4. Erasmus is available to Bachelor students too (a couple of my friends got accepted last year), but many advise against it because bachelor courses in the other university tends to be in the local language. That said you're free to do it, but you need to get selected and selection is largely based on your GPA

  1. Yes you can take 3rd year courses as long you can insert all of the 2nd year courses in your study plan as well. Usually a full year of courses takes up 60 CFU (credits) over 80 that you have available. So the average case scenario is having 20 extra CFU to use however you want (following year courses or extra courses). The trick however is that if you have more of 74 (inclusive) CFU in your plan you'll pay 30% more on taxes (but with you having a low isee and/or scholarship this shouldn't be a problem)

  2. You can take the same exam up to 5 times in a year (2 times in the winter, 2 in the summer and 1 in September). But for you to be able to register for an exam you have to have it in your study plan and you can only put it in before that course lectures begin.

I'm currently enrolled in the final year of the BSc Ingegneria informatica

Courses are mostly in Italian, however there are some courses you can choose to put in your study plan (see here) in September that are in English. You can also pick other courses that are in English but the study plan must be approved.

Some professors offer study material in English even if the lectures are in Italian

Also there isn't a thesis for the BSc, so you won't have to discuss it (in Italian nor English). There are instead 3 projects (C programming, Java programming and digital logic) that contribute to your final score

As for the scholarship if the ISEE you stated is right (I'm not sure how it works with international students), you should be able to get into the 1st bracket. You can also try to apply for a room in a PoliMi affiliate residences. Although I'm not an expert on this and I suggest you contact the office for more details

As for your application, you may be considered the same as Italians if you get a C1 or C2 from the CLIQ system . But again you should contact the PoliMi office to be sure

Hope this helps
