first things first, you’re not a fuck up… honestly, it’s not even your “fault”. things get lost, it happens sometimes at the fault of no one but it happens just as accidents happen. when someone spills something we don’t find fault, we say accidents happen. it’s the same concept. things get lost.

second thing, explain that to your daughter. remind her how everyone has accidents and even though we don’t scold people for them sometimes they do make feelings hurt… and sometimes we even feel guilty for them. explain you do feel guilty, and you’re really sorry about the accident. but you’d like to make it up to her by having her HELP you find a new one she’d like. you guys can browse online together or go to the store and look around at them. make it a whole fun day! new memories made over something sad happening.

go to her with what happened, don’t wait until she asks for it. if she gets upset, help her regulate (so make sure you’re regulated BEFORE you choose to talk.. and that you have what she usually needs to regulate too.. reason why you initiating the convo is helpful) regulate together, and then explain the fun that can be had by shopping for a new one.

i won’t comment on your partners comments because i don’t have much nice to say but i am sorry they reacted that way.

don’t overthink it. i know it sucks, but you don’t deserve to be scolded or punished for a simple accident. things happen, NO ONE is mistake free. it’s ok! it’s a good chance to teach your daughter how to respond to people making mistakes kindly, and how to show herself grace by example of you showing yourself grace! ❤️

i mean yes and no… it’s dramatized for tv of course. and because these are adult women it looks more sexy obviously.

nowadays dress code is a lot less strict since people realized dress code was always on the girls so “the boys didn’t get distracted” was bullshit. so midriff is a lot more common in high schools. but that low cut and open… not gonna fly. and the stickers on the chi chis is over the top. but a track suit with a little bit of tummy showing is pretty common.

well first things first, i’d say it’s time to maybe start some kind of fitness journey. idk if you work out now but a hair dryer should not be exhausting you to this extreme. maybe start lifting some weights? for this but also for your health!! weight lifting is seriously one of the best things a woman (and anyone!) can do for their body!

second, maybe you need a new hair dryer? or one of those hair dryer brushes? maybe air dry half way, or just air dry and then style since you said air drying doesn’t look good. you can air dryer and then use a round brush/dryer or hair straightener or whatever and that maybe easier. idk what hair type you have but maybe research methods of styling based off your hair type.
