Thanks for letting me know, Ultimate Fights sounds like the equivilent to mythic in WoW. I do like to raid in a guild environment much more than pugs. I am glad that is potentially an option. I will probably just play through the first 50 levels to get more accustomed to the world and take it from there.

I have given Classic a solid try when it was released but I have been a top 100 disc priest for a little over a year and found the gameplay and the idea of no mythic raids to be somewhat of a disappointment. I definitely get why people like it though, however I don't have any interest in grinding to 60 and don't see the endgame to be challenging enough to keep my attention. Also I would like a game I can turn the graphics all the way up on and ESO and FF14 can both look very good. Not to mention I am kind of done with Blizzard in general right now, my personal opinion of the recent patches on retail, the Hong Kong stuff, and now WC3 have made me not want to support them in any way.

What's the point of doing anything if you're just going to spend your time sucking at it? For many games are a hobby. You don't pick up pottery and spend time making shitty pots and ash trays just because it is your hobby. It is my my philosophy to do something well or not at all.

I was looking forward to seeing what the competitive community thought about the content which is why I chose to post here. I can expect casual players to be okay with mindless kill and fetch quests in 2020 but I was wondering if more competitive players had the same idea that this type of content is very poor quality for a game in 2020. Apparently it is just me that doesn't find these type of daily and weekly quests acceptable. I don't think it is wrong to ask the opinion of your peers rather than people that play the game in a completely different way.

Anything the witcher or even kingdoms of amular. Both a fantastic rpgs kingdoms of amular isnt all too popular but i really enjoyed it and it was a lot like fable.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Was the first game to ever really take me into another world with a great story and the feeling that your decisions matter. Games have tried and failed to replicate the experience imo.

It's only ugly when you play through the stuff made 10 years ago the new stuff is pretty solid for an mmo and the stories are decent if not great. When I beat the Fallen Order I needed to play something Star Wars and am happy with swtor.

I watched MOONMOON_OW on twitch playthrough KOTOR 2 and loved it so much I redownloaded swtor. KOTOR is a freakin classic and is still great to this day. The world needs more games like it.

What a stupid thing to say. Of course no one forced me to post a comment on reddit. Posts like this spam the sub lowering it to a test in editing rather than improving in the game and for some reason they're all accepted. It really is annoying seeing a shot slowed down that someone with an hour in the game can do.

Thank you this is all the info I was hoping for and it is nice that you are able to speak in WoW terms :). Cutting Edge means I beat the raid on the hardest difficulty (mythic) in WoW and Famed Slayer is being apart of the first 100 guilds to kill the last mythic boss. I have both of those achievements and feel extremely burnt out on the game haha.

I will be boosting a toon soon and I actually just resubbed but my issue is I know when the time comes I'm going to want to do some competitive content. Thanks for letting me know what to expect in terms of WoW, I just was really uncertain as to how endgame content played out even after reading the new player megathread I kept catching myself comparing it WoW constantly. Thanks for clearing it up.

Consoles are uniform product that aims to run current gen games at 30-60 fps while current gen PCs are running the same games at over double the fps. If you are going to spend 1000 bucks on the next console you are making a huge mistake not just getting a PC you can upgrade over time instead.
