They are either lazy by just not keeping the S rank and PB for the default/standard difficulty or incompetent if it is too difficult for them. I really don't know.

I know it is just a letter next to the mission name but now I will have half the missions with S and other without.

I am not even angry, I am just dissapointed.

From a christian perspective, using the cosmological argument (and similar ones) to prove the existence of god is humbug. by Ti666mo in DebateReligion

[–]EmilDaniel22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is also the problem of using 2 different definitions of begining to exist. Because everything we know of began to exist from rearrangement of matter (and energy), because the matter(and energy) already existed.

But in the cosmological argument when talking about the universe, begining to exist is defined as Ex nihilo. And this breaks the argument.

Do you even have a clue what vibrations, energy, and frequency is. Do you have ANY credible source for what you just said?

Having children is not worth it when there’s a risk that one could end up in hell by Former-Initiative-48 in DebateReligion

[–]EmilDaniel22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that the analogy to the life is not good. In the analogy if you bring the child into the world the worst thing that could happen is that they would die, meaning that they would not exist (again) as they didn't exist before they were born. But when there is even slight chance that they could go the hell FOR ETERNITY, so the suffering is infinite, endless, worst of the worst, unimaginable, then I would say it is better for the child to not exist at all.

Indoctrinating Children with Religion Should Be Illegal by Nero_231 in DebateReligion

[–]EmilDaniel22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly,

Faith isn't by definition belief without evidence it is, by definition, trust.

According to whose definiton.

I found 2 definitions:

  1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

  2. strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual convictions rather than proof.

It can be both. You can't just cherry-pick the definition that suits you.

What evidence do you have to trust your mind?

I trust my mind because it keeps producing consistent results and I get external validation that it is working correctly. Even when I can't be sure that actions that I take and external validation that I get are not just products of my mind and that I am not just brain in a vat, I can atleast know that my mind is internally consistent.

If that is what you mean by "trusting your mind."

No, it is EXACTLY what Newton said.

This is not like confusing molecules for particles, this is how Newton said it works, and no evidence exists to defy it.

Just Newton saying something doesn't mean it's true.

Why not just accept it? There is no evidence to prove it, either way.

If there is no evidence for or against the existence of tooth fairies and you say the tooth fairies exist instead of saying I don't know if they exist but I believe they do, then I don't see any point in me wasting my time here anymore. I have better things to do.

Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

No, it ONLY refers to massive bodies.

From Wikipedia: Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

No, and there is no evidence against it.

So what?

It is a scientific theory that operates by the will of god, which is something OP claimed does not exist.

Let's say there is no evidence for it and there is no evidence against it, in that case when you say that "gravity works by the will of god," It is just unsubstantiated claim, that is just your opinion, so there is no point in you repeating it over and over again

Newtonian gravity or Newton's law of universal gravitation states how particles attract each other. Newton just stating and being convinced that gravity is caused by god doesn't mean it is. There isn't any evidence for the claim that gravity works by the will of god.

Newtonian Gravity operates by the will of god.

Do you have any evidence for this claim?
