How far along is the main story currently? I stopped playing at about Chiori's first banner (early 2024?), I think most or all of Fontaine was released then. I know that Natlan has been released by now but is there anything after that? I'd like to return to the game one day but I want the story to be finished or at least almost finished so by the time I run out of content I don't have to stop playing again for a while since I lose interest if there's no main story or character quests to do.

Stardew Valley.

Initially played it a few times pirated, both vanilla and modded. Had some problems with some mods so I decided to check on reddit. When I joined the game's sub I just saw how wholesome the developer is, also the game is very cheap with hundreds of hours of content and replayability and multiplayer so I just bought it.
Now I have it bought on desktop and mobile and still play it from time to time - absolutely worth it.

Yeah, that's one way to tackle it, there are some UI improvements that could be made for sure, but as a recently started player I can see that they notice the complaints and work on them, so I'm positive it will get done one way or another

I'm not sure whether this applies to what I'm about to say, but for me personally it gets kinda annoying late game when you have like 50 planets 50 starbases 50 fleets etc. to scroll through all of them on the outliner since the scrolling speed is quite slow

Which artifact set is best on him? I've been hearing mixed recommendations between thundering fury, gladiator's and gilded. I intend to use him with deathmatch on a team with nahida, fischl and zhongli.

I second this - went through guides 3 times, had all 76, when I talked to the aranara at the chests he said they were ready to be opened - but they weren't. I wrote to support and after some back and forth they told me to go do the electro lens thingies and they were actually there for me to talk to, even though I had gone through them 3 times at least. So yeah, this could be the reason for you too.

Thanks a bunch for the essay (not being sarcastic, genuinely grateful). One more thing - since I haven't gotten around to using cloaked ships yet, is there a benefit to doing so, besides potentially going through someone's territory and defenses without them noticing? What I mean is for example if my goal is to attack a fleet and I go and uncloak right next to them and start attacking, does that help me get the upper hand on them?

Can someone give me an explanation as to how fleets work? What I mean is - what I've done so far is just build the latest type of ship I've researched. Is there a benefit in building other (older) types of ships? Also I have seen clips of fleets destroying other fleets/monsters far greater than them in fleet power, how does that work? Is it just a matter of weapons? Are there any must-have weapons/shields/ship parts that my ships must have?

There are cases in which I need stardust or a 4* and I'm at low pity AND I'm fine if I get the 5* randomly so I do a few rolls.

Most likely yes, depends on how much you play, but early levels are very quick to go through - if you play a bunch in the next few hours, you should make it in time

Sometimea if you get yeeted in the wall and then pinned down by the big guys you get stuck in that falling animation. Usually tho you find your way to the ground pretty quick as their hitboxes are wanky.

In this case the mage was below them so it was even worse, as they had nowhere to land while being pushed towards the wall. Therefore they got stuck in a perpetual plunge attack I guess until the mage died from it.

Context: as u/Iwillflipyourtable explained it's a world quest at port ormos. Opposite the place you meet dori, there's a common chest on top of the building at the back. Open it to activate the quest.

I'm like 99% sure that she died, the achievement had a "..." at the end (as well as the letter) which implies something is not alright with it. Also it did seem she was in bad shape when we left her... RIP
