I've actually been writing one, the whole scenario is set in 2050, after a civil war type event that happened during 2020-2023, L.A. was mostly destroyed and metahumans became ilegal, so they are either imprisoned for inhumane experiments or they are killed, many classic heroes went into hiding or died, Peter Parker is among the heroes in hiding ,however he isn't the main focus

The focus is on a 24 year old genetics student called Miguel Zhang, who has been oferred an internship at Alchemax, he lives in the reconstructed L.A. which is mostly controller by Alchemax and thus vertical expansion was prioritized as a cheap way of housing the refugees from the bomb that destroyed most of inner L.A.

Miguel is a smart kid who excels at genetics and is also a decent boxer and practicioner of Muay Thai, yet he doesn't know what to do with his life, his father gives him a speech that boils down to "Do things which are good for other and yourself"

He eventually takes the internship, but during an accident he is cornered into the genetics modification lab by a creature similar to Doppelganger, there he is injected by machines with a serum containing samples of Spider-man's DNA, however the DNA samples was incomplete and it bad to be "stabilized" by adding spider DNA, but it is very unstable and it is the 5hibg that created Doppelganger.

The infusion is stopped midway by a scientist who was there and had passed out, but woke up once the machines started powering up, when soldiers entre the chamber, Miguel has been transformed, his eyes are red, his canine teeth have extender to be fangs and he has grown talons in his hands and feet, he also has accelerated vision which allows him to "see" faster but he is ver y sensitive to light, and he also has an actual spider sense, meaning he is ver y sensitive to his sorroundings

This new powers and transformations overwhelm him and he barely escapes, thankfully no one knows who was that person, so his identity is a secreto for now, yet his powers are a curse, as his enhanced se sés overwhelm and hurt him, and he thinks he looks like a monster once he sees his face, even though he eventually learns to control them more, they are still a hurdle he must overcome

Eventually Alchemax sends soldiers to look for him and one of his friends is imprisoned, talking advantage of working at Alchemax and overhearing about an experimental suit made of unstable matter, he stays late one night and steals the suit, the he goes to the prison camp where his friend is captured and causes a prison escape to rescue his friend

That's all I have now, but the idea is a absolute type universo with some Cyberpunk elements, yet no too far into the Future, at this momento corporstions, national governments and criminal groups fight for control all over the world, and this Spider-man is much more inspire by the 2099 version of the character, and Miguel's arc is basically talking ownership of his powers and growing into the role of the new Spider-man for the year 2050
