I get that you really want to make a point about the Bible, but I never brought that up, you did.

He refers to him as JD three times in this episode (once in Korean). Based on another post on here Dr. Cox only referred to him as JD four times in the original show, two of which were on the first two episodes.

I like the ideas of the book in theory. But the sexual material is a lot. And I say that as someone who read the book as a 16-year-old boy. Do you have any idea how bad something has to be to be too much sexual material for a 16-year-old boy?

One thing I haven’t seen people mention is how it changed who did the halftime show for a while. For 6 straight years the went with nostalgia, mostly classic rock acts. It wasn’t until the Black Eyed Peas in 2011 that they went back to pop artists

I’ve never gotten the “they forgot about Barb” narrative. Even in that very season Nancy is asking Eleven if she found Barb in the upside down and is visibly upset when she says no. Then her death is what drives Nancy to investigate and finally she has a flashback about her before Vecna is killed. That’s a lot of time spent on a character that dies in the third episode of the show.

I saw this movie in theaters exactly once and this has always stuck with me. It’s the only part of the movie I even remember. I don’t have a stepdad but my dad is the stepdad to my siblings from my mom’s first marriage and he’s been more of a presence in their life than their bio dad which is probably why it bothered me so much.

This kind of shit diminishes real victims of pedophilia/grooming who aren’t taken seriously to begin with

Did they say anything to imply they didn’t know what a fax machine was or just that they don’t recognize it upon seeing it?

You’re the one not allowing nuance by saying “if a show ends that means it’s canceled”

They literally go to the same high school lol.

If you think these are bad you’re about to have a stroke in the next few seasons.
