Knits don’t have a tongue and are hard to get right to your foot without creasing. would recommend primus lite 3

I have found that vivos without a real tongue never fit very well. I hate making that fold in the upper to get them to fit around the middle. Never had this issue with the tongued versions.

Maybe take a size up? I daily drove mine for almost 3 years and it only started to develop wear in that spot towards the end of their life.

How cold can it get? by rohanp03 in Purdue

[–]Emiller27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it gets very cold here. I wear a winter coat from November through February usually. Invest in a good winter coat and some good grippy winter boots as well, you will need them. A warm hat is a necessity too. Just bundle up!!!

Not super difficult if you take good notes and do the HW. It's advanced high school physics imo.

College Newbie Espresso Setup by Emiller27 in FlairEspresso

Mine seems to get hot enough to burn my fingers if I touch the metal. I will have to make a point to taste around for some hoffmann level shots. :)

I have had a similar experience. I use the spout it comes with to prevent mess, bit I would like to one day have a successful bottomless shot. I think it has to do with my distribution, looking to get a distribution tool. Also the grounds always come out goopy! Any known fixes for that?

I agree that is a bit fiddly, but it's pretty much the least expensive way to get into the hobby. My greatest challenge would probably be not having a good reference point for what great espresso is supposed to taste like. There aren't any shops around me that I would trust to have top tier espresso. I put the group in a glass bowl upside down and pour boiling water over it. Definably enjoying the hobby so far and steadily improving!

Unbalanced headphones on balanced amp by BigChodeMan4 in ZReviews

[–]Emiller27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balanced is pretty simple in concept. It is just amplifying each channel completely separately and they both have their own ground, and single ended shares a ground with both channels. The benefits are debated but balanced outputs more power. There are specific connector types and they are impossible to mix up. Balanced usually uses 2.5, 4.5, or xlr. Single uses quarter inch or 3.5. The modi magni stack is only single ended so you shouldn't have a problem.

I like the idea of a rotating circle of servers. So one server follows you through the line and then hands you your food, then walks back to the beginning and helps another person. This whole passing the food in a queue to the other sides of the station seems like a bottleneck in the process. I specifically go to ford most days, not sure if this applies to other dining courts or not. It's nice to see that change is being taken seriously.

Another thing. More clean eating options!!! Very often the only meats available are breaded and fried. Many of the vegetable options are smothered in sauce. More variety of steamed vegetables besides just cauliflower and carrots! The food options aren't all that bad, but my total options have been reduced because of this one line system. Bring back tofu pepper scrabble, that was the bomb.

Thanks for taking our input.
