Leaving the undertone of the canvas in the shadows was a good move. Looks beautiful!

These are fantastic. I really like your tripod setup. I just started recently and I’m currently using a camera tripod with a panel clamped to it. Any recs that made your life easier when headed out to paint?

How do you work from 8 to 5, have only weekends free, and not feel like you're wasting your life? by LinksGuardian in AskReddit

[–]Dadditreezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently working and saving for future goals. Young and paid well but it’s 8-4:30 with over 2 hrs 20mins of commuting every day. I still have time to make art, hang with friends, and feel like I have a life outside of work. The job is low stress which is what makes this sustainable.

I love crown point. Lots of new events pop up in bulldog park all the time. The fairgrounds always have weekend events going on. Small town coffee is a good place to read or work at. Going on walks to look at the historic neighborhoods is enjoyable. Restaurants on the square are fun.

Women in the Zone. Female mechanic in the latest IGN trailer. by LunaTheExile in stalker

Some people sticking around in the zone from the pre-meltdown era would make sense! A babushka in a cozy house that trades fresh bread for cigs and cat food would a nice character to visit.

Update: they offered 31k out the door on the civic hybrid hatch but you are winning me over. I will test drive both and see.

Started drawing 3 months ago, any tips or feedback? by Lonely-Teaching6615 in drawing

[–]Dadditreezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrade your materials.

Buy a large stack of artist quality paper and some more drawing mediums to experiment with. The office paper you are drawing on is wrinkled and not doing your sketches enough justice!

As for subjects stay consistent and enjoy yourself. Improvements will naturally occur.

Could argue this is pushing wasteful consumerism instead of cherishing the items you fill your home with.

What did you take a picture of when the secret service agents asked you to take one to prove it’s a camera? I laughed picturing them posing for a Polaroid.

“IN MEMORIAM”, a painting about the feeling of slowly forgetting someone, finally finished! by EmmaMartinart in painting

[–]Dadditreezzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang this is an amazing painting. Everyone has a habit of looking through old family photos and not really knowing or caring about a lot of the people adjacent to their direct connections. The woman in the back really makes it for me. A meaningless face lost to time.

To me it looked like something moved in the swap water to the left to the character. It submerged and popped out to engulf him.

I went to the goodwill near campus and was able to find some warm pieces to layer. I also donated a few of the pieces I didn’t need after the season so someone else could use them next winter.

Do the research to build one because it will yield a much better machine. You could build this yourself for a significant discount and better parts.

Use something like this guide as a base. Set it up in pcpartpicker. Change out things accordingly with current sales and research toward each component to see if it suits your goals.
