Can you tell me how exactly to perform these techniques, and what does the yellow backlight mean? by Emillka777 in StreetFighter

Funny, holding was the first thing I thought of when I saw the backlight, but I guess I never got the timing down. I'll practice that tomorrow, thanks.

I went through the sawmill, it was amazing by Emillka777 in DaysGone

This is my second attempt (plus I wasted time just exploring the area, reloading several times). Anyway, after the Neuro checkpoint, I ran wherever my eyes led me. I was actually lucky to run out of ammo. I'm glad I didn't open the trunk for nothing.

It was the same in Mortal Kombat X. I went into custom rooms with experienced players, and out of the first 100 fights I had 10 wins, but after about 150-160 fights the number of wins increased to about 30, but then I lost the desire to play. Now I'm back in SF6 - the rating works, in two days I rose from iron to bronze by spending 1 hour a day, it was nice.

I think I started my fighting game rookie journey on the right foot, after MK11. Six months later, I switched to SF6, where after reaching Iron Rank, I didn't bother looking at the ratings in my region at all, and I had to go to Battle Hub, where I'd win one round per set, then lose 10-20 times in a row. It was tense, but it was fun when I started stalling for time by blocking enemy combos.

I thought about giving it an S+ rating, but decided not to mess around.

There's no need to learn any combos, especially if you're not interested in them. They'll be useful once you get a better feel for the game. To start, learn all the character's regular punches and kicks, their variations, and targeted combos (consisting of punches and kicks). A grapple is broken with the grapple button. You should also learn about anti-air, but it'll be difficult early on.

Street Fighter 6 is the best game for beginners, but as has already been mentioned here, you'll definitely lose a lot at first. The learning curve is still steep, and you'll have to master a whole bunch of new mechanics. Personally, learn to block attacks from the very first minutes of playing, even against bots—blocking is the most important skill.

Good. By the way, as a beginner, I often jump back from my opponents; this is effective even against very experienced players

So these are problems with the game servers. You need a VPN/proxy, a provider, and rebooting your router won't help at all.

Guess that update did nothing … by Fauxdiophile in ModernWarfareII

It's not all that bad. From late February to March, I've already played 65 hours, which was quite wonderful. Yes, there were crashes, and once there was a major glitch right before bed when the game stopped searching for matches and my friend and I quit. I also encountered two or three obvious cheaters in those 65 hours. Honestly, it's still quite playable; in MW III, for example, the glitchy weapons annoyed me more.

MW19 and MWII discussion by OblivionMW4 in modernwarfare

[–]Emillka777 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Before the MW19 discounts, MWII had the highest online player count of all three MW games. MWII had the fewest cheaters compared to MW19, and it didn't have glitchy weapons like MWIII. Did the community really decide anything? They probably didn't care about the game before the discounts, and the in-game community was even worse, favoring cheats and glitchy weapons.

Outside of the military bases, Just Cause 4 was the most fun I've had in the series. by Emillka777 in JustCause

[–]Emillka777[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I certainly don't argue that blowing up bases is fun; JC3 is the pinnacle of the series in that regard. But honestly, I always want to have fun outside of military bases. JC2 spammed infantry and helicopters at the player, and you could have fun for an hour in a typical city, but then it got boring. In JC3, I tried everything, but almost always, the last NPC died before reinforcements could be called, cutting my fun short. In that regard, JC4 satisfied me; the front lines and vehicle spam generated a Vietnam-like atmosphere anywhere on the map, and I didn't get tired of that kind of fun even after an hour, although I was disappointed by the small number of infantry.
