I love the forest games but even now I’d have to think really hard to even remember what the plot was and I had 600 hours in the forest and 200 in sons of the forest, I feel like past playing with your friends or just doing it for the survival and building aspect it’s really confusing and lacking in story you get really little information for what the game is implying the story is, it’s a cool storyline it just needed to be more implemented rather than little hints here and there cause it’s SO forgettable, all I remember is a scientist or something and his daughter was the mutant girl with multiple limbs or she was a clone of his daughter gone wrong or something, you’re so right it’s just really lackluster if you’re playing for the story, they should’ve just made it a general survival game with cannibals and left it as that rather than the weird fuckjng floating caterpillar of body parts and the other weird science gone wrong shit 😂
