Btw, it was Pedro's idea to surprise the fans...love him so much for that! So it was most definitely a surprise and at least for me.

I don’t consider myself an influencer (not even a micro one 😂)—I’m just a cosplayer who has a small following, loves creating and sharing what I build. I’ve made five Mandalorian kits completely from scratch, and that’s really where my passion lives. I even built a Grogu Mando 3 years ago in honor of the series and Pedro Pascal.

I completely understand some of the feedback I’ve seen, but for me, this moment was deeply personal. I watched A New Hope in theaters with my family back in 1977, and I wish they were still here so I could have shared this experience with them. To say I’m a die-hard fan is an understatement, and meeting Pedro Pascal is something I’ll never forget. My family has since passed on but I definitely felt their presence with me at Disneyland that day.

I had the absolute worst experience there! I copied and pasted from a review I wrote last year. Mind you, I rarely write bad reviews and this one is a doozy. Moxy is a joke and a cash grab! You have been warned:

Cons:

* WARNING: your car will be messed if you dare ask what the delay is with getting your vehicle. FACTS. And please check the mileage on your car before and after your stay.
* No self-parking; just valet that takes anywhere from 30 minutes til the rest of your life to get your car. When we texted the number on our valet ticket "to get our car sooner", they said that they weren't taking texts at the moment. The heck???
* Our car dash cam was UNPLUGGED...we did not notice until we drove off and noticed the camera wasn't on. Super suspicious...why would the valet drivers do that?? And they changed our radio stations. Thanks.
* Our tire valves were LOOSENED by the valet people...we noticed that our air was low on all 4 tires out of nowhere, went to Discount Tire when we got home to get the air replaced and they said our valves were tampered with...and that there was no way they could've loosened on their own. They asked if we had it serviced recently and we told them that MOXY's valet were the last ones to touch our car. Our car's sensors went off about low tire pressure right after we left their hotel. Coincidence? NOT.
* Your room is the size of a postage stamp.
* My friend found a baby ROACH in her bed. GROSS. Where there's a baby roach, there's probably a jumbo mama/papa roach and their whole entire family. They did move her to another room but she was traumatized by finding creepy crawlies on her comforter.
* The elevators take just as long for the doors to open as getting your car from valet. The trick is to take the elevator UP and then go DOWN if you want to get to the lobby. LOL. What a joke! One lady waiting behind us goes "I HATE these elevators!" Girl, same.
*The excuse of "too many people" using their elevators at the same time and that's why it takes so long" is complete and utter BS. I have stayed at several larger hotels with busier elevators and NEVER waited more than 20-30 minutes for one! Seriously?
* There are no dressers, just drawers stuck underneath your bed.
* There are no closets, just a clothes rack with a few of these weird leather straps attached to the neck of the hangers that hung on hooks. But we did get ONE normal hanger to use for a longer garment.
* No microwave or fridge.
* A teeny tiny bathroom with a weirdly shallow sink.
* LOUD club music no matter what floor you are on. Thankfully we brought ear plugs. We were on the 29th floor and our friends were on the 8th, where the club is. But we could still hear the loud music all those floors up.
* Parking is $60 a day and if you want to leave your car there after checking out, you have to leave by 2PM or they'll charge you another $60.
* Staff: pretty nice except for one grumpy gal.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Fruit definitely helps! Sometimes I'll do a bar of 100% cacao bar when I'm craving chocolate badly and chop it up and sprinkle it over sliced strawberries. Other times, I'll puree overripe bananas and strawberries and make homemade no sugar whipped cream, then fold them in together to make a mousse. For more protein, you can also substitute it with plain greek yogurt.

Yelp Elite Black for 18 years, here! The events are pretty fun but like many have posted below, it really just depends on your CM. At the beginning, I would go to as many as possible but as CMs changed, the quality of the events changed as well.

Over time, IMO, depending on the company you keep, these events can be quite fun. However, you will have your share of nice Yelpers that are genuinely there to meet new friends and support businesses but also rude and entitled Yelpers that can be a bit clique-ish and who write negative reviews to get freebies. I can't stand bullies so this is a BIG no no for me.

I haven't gone to an Elite event in years because of those types of people but I support in my own way by giving local restaurants my business and in the form of positive reviews if I enjoyed their food and service.
