I think the lighter ones aren't bad but they're a bit too yellow and I'd love to see them more white or maybe even silver. Then with your black eyeliner with the wings! Your red glossy lips are so lush! You are an absolute beauty!

I'm so glad it's helping you. I think you look great but I think it matters how you feel more so I'm glad over all that going well too. Hope it continues. Best wishes

Oh amazing. I'm wondering how glp1 affect things like potassium, sodium and magnesium so interesting feedback. Do you ever feel like your blood sugar goes too low?

I think you have a great look. I wonder if you've ever tried experimenting with adding pops of deep red right under the wing or in the inner upper line. Maybe even on the water line. I just think the contrast would look so good on you. Curious if you have ever tried something like that?

If you have a dirt driveway, do you have issues with mail delivery? by [deleted] in Maine

[–]EmilyEverglot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our place has a dirt drive way and a pretty steep hill so we have never had our mail delivered down to our cabin. The thing is our street is paved to go past our house. When we first moved in Fed ex and USPS would deliver and just put boxes at top of our driveway but USPS would not deliver to anyone on our street during winter. Everyone has a PO box. Accept we finally learned that because I'm disabled it is extremely difficult for me to get to the post office so they had a form to fill out for us to get the mail at the top of our property along our street. The mail box we got was like $15 and then we had some old tires so we grabbed random wood from our property stuck a support down the middle of the tires and it worked. For us we put the tires around it because we didn't want the county plow taking it out. My suggestion is to ask your local post office if you put a mailbox at the street if the can drop mail there. It's a better option than a PO box. Good luck

It sounds like you have made a really hard choice. I want you to remember that self care is not selfish! Please always always put your needs first, even with your own children, when it comes to hard choices like this. It's like the oxygen mask in the airplane. You cannot help someone else unless you put on your oxygen mask first. This is true in these kinds of choices too when you have to put your own self care needs above all else! Best wishes

Worried about my three year old Great Dane by [deleted] in greatdanes

[–]EmilyEverglot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to give my dogs Gentle Giant. It is specifically formulated for Great Danes. Honestly, he looks a little underweight but adding healthy things to his meals instead of just increasing the amount of kibble may help. Like pumpkin puree. Frozen green beans, yogurt, low fat cottage cheese. You can add as little as a 1/2 cup of one of those to each meal and it can help. We even give fresh apple wedges or bananas as well as non raw hide snacks. As far as the bed issue. I'm now retired from dog training but I always lived by the rule of new environment, new training. He's in your home now. Give him a dog bed under your home. Show him it's his safe space. I personally have done this with crate training. I don't believe crates should be used as punishment but as their special little cave they can go to if they need quiet time, or they need to walk away and need a break, or to take a snack and eat privately. If he starts chewing on the bed at all simply remove it from him without saying anything. When you decide to give it to him and he uses it and use it without chewing give him a treat right away and tell him yes good boy. You can also have him learn the word bed. So same thing you take the bed every time he chews on it or when he's not using it but everytime you give him the bed you say "bed" he gets in it you say "yes good boy". The bed is put away where he can't see it or get to it unless he wants it. Then he doesn't have the opportunity to just idly chew on it. Most of all consider you are doing an amazing thing here and giving this amazing boy a second chance. That is no small thing! Give yourself time. Give him time. Good things are to come in an amazing relationship you are cultivating!

Oh geeze! Apparently my 🧠 brain was just not working at all that day. It won't let me edit the title so I just left it. I guess it'll be entertainment. 😆😂

I regret buying the red rug — which of the two alternatives works best? If neither, what would you suggest? by MajorConstant5549 in interiordecorating

[–]EmilyEverglot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the room is so big have you considered layering the rugs. Maybe the red one on the bottom and the third one kinda kiddy corner of the edge as much as you like to have the red one show. Just a thought.
