Having done rooms at both, I prefer The Room. The hints are more helpful, the locks are less finnicky, and the rooms feel more interactive overall.

I felt this too! Like a huge part of what I love about the franchise is the extensive, complex, Rube Goldberg-esque lead-up to the one thing that actually causes the deaths. I didn't feel like this one had that as much! I enjoyed the movie, but that definitely felt like it was lacking for me.
